    During your NDIS journey you will likely hear several acronyms or abbreviations. These can seem confusing and daunting at first but, don’t worry we’re here to help!
    Here are 15 acronyms you are likely to encounter:
    AT: Assistive Technology
    CB: Capacity Building
    COS: Coordination of Supports
    DSS: Department of Social Services
    DSP: Disability Service provider or Disability Support Pension
    ELS: Everyday Life Skills
    R&N: Reasonable and Necessary
    SIL: Supported Independent Living
    SLES: School Leaver Employment Supports
    STA: Short Term Accommodation
    PWD: Person with a Disability
    PM: Plan Manager
    ECEI: Early Childhood Early Intervention
    And finally,
    LAC: Local Area Coordinator
    and
    SC: Support Coordinator
