This couple's entitlement is unbelievable. Every country has its rules when entering; learn them, and don't just assume. At the end of the day, the responsibility lands on you. Don't blame customs for following their laws. Being an American doesn't give you extra perks.
They took responsibility, paid the fine & gave good advice of check your bags. Glad they can move on together as a family!
Improper storage of ammunition. Their children could have access to those bullets and kids will do foolish things out of curiosity. Terrible interview! This guy was not a victim. He’s an entitled fool. No grey area here. He straight up broke the law and should be held accountable.
I have been wondering the same since the stories started airing. How does breaking a country’s law make you a victim. Am sure it was a painful experience but the wife talking about “resolving it some other way” sounds like deep entitlement and pride. You hope for Grace but you don’t demand for it. Zero humility, zero lesson learned. It’s a shame.
This is a perfect example of how so many Americans hold onto their guns so tight that they think rules and laws of other countries do not apply to them. I mean...for real...
They should emphasize making sure you check your bags for ammunition more than being shown grace.
I can't imagine how someone can possibly do this. Respect other county's rules......period. I feel bad for your family but really.... they are predatory? You are lucky...tell people this!!
Always check your luggage before you go to pack your luggage.
Well, He's Not Selfish He is Thinking Of The Others.
I definitely completely empty my bag before every trip on a plane. And check international laws.
This seems more than a mistake. I seriously cannot imagine using the same bag. Separate your gun bags… if you can afford an international flight, you can afford a new bag.
