When they say jealousy bring out the ugliness in people, it truly does. In the end, she learned the consequences of her actions and grow up to which I'm glad for.

I’m glad that Emma turned her life around, and is trying to make up for her misdeeds. I’m also glad that Laura’s mom finally learned to loosen up near the end. I’m just a little disappointed that there’s no romance between Laura and some boy. But other than that it’s a nice story.
Why? Not every story need to have romance . It was getting really boring because almost all there story is a girl that is in love with 2 boys ,can't choose and then relise who the jerk is and then start dating the nice guy . I was relived this story was different and had different plot .

It was just wrong for her dad to lie and walk out for some milk like Richard’s dad did from amazing world of gumball. Laura knew she didn’t want to come between her aunt and daughter because emma just wanted to feel noticed. If she did told her aunt about her father they would’ve been on the same page just to protect emma from doing the unthinkable.
