It's fun listening to Alan in a role that doesn't include the phrase, Yabba Dabba Do! Considering all the craziness daughter Miriam is putting her parents through, (volunteering her father's blood, sending nasty telegrams to the war department, writing 63 letters to a Lieutenant in her sister's name ) there's very little to *Yabba Dabba Do* about .
I knew the voice as soon as I heard. I half-expected him to say a sarcastic *"Yabba Dabba Do!"* when his daughter announced she had volunteered to donate HIS blood.
"He'll kiss her... and if she objects....he'll continue kissing her". Hmm although some values and attitudes have deteriorated over the years.... this particular attitude firmly belongs in the dark ages!! 😂😂
Increadible witty, very fast comedy!! Looking forward to find the film. Gives An insight in changing circumstances during ww 2.
The father is played by Alan Reed, who later was the voice for Fred Flintstone.
He is wonderful!

Why? What we lack is passionate men.....
@@roelienpostma2367 There is nothing passionate about kissing someone against their will. In some jurisdictions that is called assault.
