I clicked on a different album first then accidentally on this one. First I wanted to go back but then I thought "maybe I'm supposed to listen to this then" so I did. I'm glad I did. ❤️
Even if I'd love to do so, I don't think it will happen anytime soon due to a lot of issues. The main one is money of course. I'm an indipendent solo artist and everything I do, I do it with a very very low budget so it's really hard for me right now. Anyway, I appreciate your wish to have Hyeon on physical support. Maybe someday it'll happen :D
This is so fucking good. Not so many postrock albums are made into such composition as well. The gradation, instrumental side and everything is far beyond so many bands, if this has been accomplished by one person, hats off for that. Not only I listened to it once, but already five times and it is amazing how easy is to come back to this music.

I love how some parts of the album are performed with an acoustic guitar. First time hearing something like this, and I love the concept and would absolutely love to hear more of that. Post-rock to start this new shit year is the best... I'm drinking mostly because this is my 9nth day locked on my room because a covid positive and with a broken arm... All goes wrong for a great year entrance.
The 9/4 rythm (3x3/4) is so dope on Polaris. Do you play the drums live? I'm planning to learn drums too to play all these odd time signatures, because I think I'm better off doing it myself...
I'm no drummer unfortunately but I write and compose all of it and then use a Library to get the sound I want. Anyway you should learn if you can, but odd time signatures will come later with practice and practice!

I could never get a good live sounding programmed drumkit so I stuck to more electronic beats. 7/4 come to me completely naturally on guitar already. It's like I discover a good riff and just see later on, that it's in 7/4, 7/8. So I'm confident that it'll be good on drums too. Actually I played a little drums yesterday and already played some odd beats 👌

Ciao Davide, intanto ti ringrazio davvero tanto per i complimenti, grazie di cuore! Per rispondere alla tua domanda, sì registro tutto io all'interno di una situazione del tutto home-made. Registro le chitarre con una semplice scheda audio, le chitarre acustiche con l'ausilio di un microfono di fascia media e un controller midi con cui vado a comporre synth/pad e altri VST della Native Instruments, Kontakt ecc giusto per citare i più famosi. Per quanto riguardo la batteria ho la nuova libreria Modern and Massive di GetGoodDrums e la uso insieme a Perfect Drums. Dunque i suoni che senti non provengono da una batteria reale ecco, ma bensì programmata. Stessa cosa per il basso dove uso il MODO Bass di IK Multimedia che è ottimo devo dire. Poi mixo il tutto con assoluta mancanza di conoscenza ma mi piace farlo quindi c'è soltanto da imparare ahahah. Spero di averti dato qualche dritta, se hai bisogno di altro non esitare a chiedere, grazie ancora! :D
