Quick note on the clip, you don't necessarily need batteries in the controller. If you have a short USB c cord you can just connect the controller directly to the phone. The phone will power the controller and you eliminate the lag that you get from Bluetooth
The kishi V2 is amazing.. works with my case and has programable buttons and it helps with shooting games..works with my series x and ps5.. and I got it on sale at target for $29.99 cause it was a open box.. I got a deal and I’m loving it lol

Backbone is great if you use gyro to aim on games like CODM. Given that it is direct connection you do get lot less button latency. If don’t use gyro the right analog is like a Nintendo Switch being that is right under the buttons and kinda uncomfortable feel. Just my opinion.

I like my backbone but barely use it, id rather have the PS5 stand and its cheaper although heavy.. i wish I returned it but I kind of like it. Im not sure if backbone for iphone runs smoother or not and if it will work on the new USB C Iphones. Its harder to play FPS or any games as good with the backbones placement.

The backbone takes advantage of the phone’s haptics for rumble features. However, I don’t believe the razer Kishi does the same thing, but it is a software feature so it could be added later.

I have the kishi v1 live it use it daily, i also have the kishi v2 but find myself using the v1 way more simoly because of the way it snaos together when not in use its small enough to carry in your pocket. I also use the Mantis controller pro button mapping app ( which i sideloaded and activiated) without paying for or needing a pc to activate the mantis controller buddy pro service and it works with every game you put on your device whether it has controller support or not
The backbone is hit and miss, the customer service and return department is crap. And for $100 bucks a warranty Should come with it , essentially since they don’t provide a case…what a waste of a almost good product..maybe backbone 2 will be perfect

I think if you have the nancon pro and get used to the feeling you orobably pkay 1 on 1 the same. But i only used the kishi for stardew valley and streaming fortnite(xbox) Since it didnt have codm and apex support i couldnt test it of course. Had a xbox one bck inthe du days so.... The cheao controller is the replacment now, otherwise i go xbox controller i think for the support. If nacon BT had support i would buy that 1 i think...

I owned the Kishi V1 and loved it but the V2 I got made it exactly what I wanted from the v1. I was so glad they made it like the backbone

As a Xbox user since forever I understand not being used to button to analog stick, but it’s very easy to master
I prefer the full sized controller but it's too heavy when I am holding it while laying down. Can't be good for your tendons if you use it daily.
For me the xbox controller with the clip is too heavy and for cloud gaming the added latency of the bluetooth kills it. Great review anyway.

Yes it has an input lag, I thought he would’ve tested that against the back bone and kishi or atleast touched up on it a bit
