We need your continued support so we can continue this humble program of ours.
We need people like you so we can reach poor Filipino families, one at a time.
I've been helping and reaching my fellow Filipinos for more than a decade, since 2006, but without recording it on film.
I just decided to film the activities we do in 2015 to spread awareness.
This time guys: I need your help. I need your helping hands to give joy to Filipino families, one at a time.
How it works:
Your contribution goes straight to the individual/family we reach/help.
After we reached/helped 1 individual/family: We then move on to help another.
Our objective is to reach 1 economically poor individual/family, one at a time.
Important notes:
1. I personally don't receive/get/take/pocket any amount of financial contributions from you guys.
Your contributions go straight to the families we reach and to other expenses.
2. I do not publish on youtube the stories of the families we reach w/o a signed release agreement and parental/guardian consent.
The release agreement gives me a permission to publish their stories on youtube.
3. Business, personal and GoFundMe fundraiser accounts: All the funds, contributions, sources of income and other monetary sources that go into my accounts are being reported to the taxman. My bank also reports to the taxman every year, by the end of the year, FYI.
There's a Certified Public Accountant who does the accounting and auditing of my accounts.
The Certified Public Accountant reports to the taxman.
4. You don't need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution to give help to people in the Philippines.
Reaching and giving help to people in the Philippines is not illegal.
There's no law that states, that you need to open and register a charitable organization/foundation/institution first, before you are able to give help to people legally.
5. GoFundMe checks the fundraiser account from time to time.
They sometimes ask for verification and validation.
The reason why I upload films/videos about poverty in the Philippines is to spread social awareness.
To combat economic inequality, social injustice, oppression, repression, abuse and exploitation:
1st: We have to be aware.
2nd: We should pay attention.
3rd: We are ought to do something about it.
We as Filipinos and citizens of this planet should not turn a blind eye, not to play deaf and not to pretend mute.
We as human beings have a responsibility to give care and to show compassion to others.
We as citizens have a great responsibility to safeguard our ball of genuine democracy.
We as citizens have a responsibility to fight tyranny and corruption.
A documentary film/video like this one is very important, because it opens our eyes to the unjust societal reality.
How could we turn a blind eye on social injustice and huge economic inequality?
Wake up, my fellow citizens!

Cant raise your kids well stop having them. The grand parents have already raised their own kids and should now be living their own lives by themselves and enjoying their latter years. This makes me very angry. Your parents already sacrifed for their own family so why should they be left holding the bag because of their daughter n hubbys irresponsibility . STOP HAVING KIDS IF YOU Can't LOOK AFTER THEM.
She send away 3 to make more bravo 👏
Stop haveing SO many kids
This is a very complicated situation they're in. Landowner wants them out, elderly couple want bus tickets to go back to their homeland. Anne put a huge weight upon her parents and responsibility. I say give the elderly parents money to go back to their homeland and let and Anne and her husband figure this out on their own. You don't dump three children on your elderly parent's and one that had a stroke because you couldn't care for them. How are they suppose to care for them? She has high blood pressure. All she's doing is putting them in the grave faster. Anne and her husband need to accept responsibilities for their own. Thank you Mark and Team for bringing them rice, God Bless you all.
Those 3 kids are NOT Anne’s kids, she only has the baby, Anne gave her 3 kids to HER mom, the two older married couple here in this video is Not her parents, but her in-laws. Those kids belong to their other child, you should probably pay attention to the video before bashing on someone. She’s probably helping this couple with the grandchildren they are taking care of.
This is a huge weight upon the elderly couple. I wasn't basing anyone. My heart breaks for the parents. They need to live there life out in peace, too much for them. Whoever's children they are they shouldn't dump them on elderly. @@mistywallace820
They have to work it out!
Being poor in the Philippines is one thing if you have your own land so you can grow food. If you are poor and have no land of your own to grow food, it can be hell. Some years ago I funded the purchase of a peice of land in the philippines, where I then let some poor locals without their own farmland grow things freely. I used to return and check up on them 1-2 times a year, and help out a bit.
It is some of the best memories of my life, that I will likely remember until the day that I die.
Glad to see they feed the cats.
That poor dog, they are chaining him up all while he has the mange which is so itchy and painful for dogs
True. Unfortunately, it's common in the Philippines.
Yours,
Mark
Grandma Pilipa is going to be dead from her age😢😢😢 before they get her house finished poor woman.
😢😢😢hay
@@Minass848 not meaning anything bad just that it doesn't seem like Thier in a hurry and she needs it like yesterday.🙏
Cesar's workers are so damn slow and it's pissing me off!
Yours,

Mark why is it taking the workers so long on Grandma's house? It seems like every recent video from the last 3 weeks it looks the exact same. I feel like those workers are taking advantage of you. They're dragging their feet, doing barely anything to complete this house!!! This poor woman and her son and grandson really need to get into this house. Caesar needs to tell them to either get it done or hire someone else that can get it done faster!!! I don't think you should hire this same crew for the next house project!! I admire you Mark for all that you do. You're a true blessing to these people.
These people are content being in poverty, a lot of them could break that generational curse of poverty, her daughter grew up in poverty why she continues in poverty, and bringing children into poverty sad why are they settling for less, educate yourself, then take your parents out of poverty, they need some one to educate these people how to get out poverty
The land owner has every right to kick them out. They bought and paid for the land. Whether they use the land or not is their business. They squatted free on someone else's private land for over a decade. How dare she complain about taking only a small of someone else land. She's a disgrace of a mother to give away 3 of her 4 children. She would have grown up in similar state so why jave so much children so she can let them suffer and given away?
3kids by her mother and still making more what a sad sight when will they learn they get help so why not make more lol
Is there a way to treat the mange with the dog in the beginning if the donation ask to do so? Can you get items to help with it? I know they don’t care for animals much there, but it still hurts for others to see.
Seems most of the families you help are squatters, never see an actual landowner , to give their side of the story . I don’t know the property laws in the Philippines, does the so called landowners pay property taxes the squatters occupy ?
I wonder do these folks know what toilet paper is? Or do they use toilet 🚽 paper
Majority of Filipinos don't use toilet paper. Filipinos use tabo (water basin) to wash their private parts.
Yours,
Mark
I feel bad for their situation but if the land doesnt belong to them then they should respect the land owner and move. Like wat if someone just came in your yard for example and settled there, would you like that????? Just because hes got alot of land that doesnt mean its free for the taking. Sorry but they should go settle elsewhere in my opinion. They wouldnt like it if someone did that to them i bet so why do that to someone else? Good luck to this family though
Legally they have no rights to be living there
The land owner should try and compromise with them and work out some agreement either pay or work the land and grow vegetables or something
Illegal squatting is a big problem in the Philippines.
I feel the pain of the landowners. I mean, come on now, it's their property! But of course, I also feel the pain of the poor squatters.
Yours,
Mark
3 things tha should fix
1. Education
2. Available resources
3. Exterminate 5% of the population I’m certain this will work as Philippines suffering from overpopulation.
The daughter in-law is cranking out the babies being so poor why. The government doesn't give money for each child like that US welfare gives a lot of money for welfare mothers and children and food stamps.
Good job thank you so much bro 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏 Buddha bless always ur long live happiness life 🙏🙏🙏 watching from India 🇮🇳 but i am tibetan Buddhist ☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️☸️
SADLY THEY MAY NIT HAVE A CHOICE
There's got to more reason why the land owner wants them off the land two side of each story 😢
Whose kids is Anne taking care of. Are tĥey her husband's?
Yup

Could You add subtitels to yors videos please?🙏🙏
Rata-rata negara bekas jajahan spanyol menjadi negara miskin. Kasihan sekali penduduk filipina. Mereka semua dulunya mayoritas beragama Islam lalu dipaksa murtad oleh penjajah spanyol. Budaya-budaya asli mereka dhilangkan oleh Spanyol sehingga kehilangan jati diri negara mereka. Perekonomian hancur. Pemerintah korupsi. Saya merasa tidak tega melihat masyarakat Filipina. Saya menangis mengetahui nasib mereka. Andaikan dulu mereka tidak dijajah Spanyol.
What is my opinion on Anne?
She’s selfish. If doesn’t have a disability she should be able to work. She should be ashamed of herself.
Child production must declared as a pandemic in some countries.

25:00 minute mark. My opinion about Anne, I see her as an unintelligent irresponsible mooching person for sending her kids away for her parents to raise and then not accepting accountability for herself to raise them. On top of that, she is shacking up with her 54y.o in-laws post-stroke, because she doesn't want to financially support herself. Why are 64 year old seniors being forced to take care of all these kids and an adult moocher (moocher is someone who lives off other people's money and does not give anything back in return)? I have no pity for Anne, but I have pity for the children who were brought into the world with irresponsible parents and the seniors who are forced to act like young parents raising kids all over again while they have health issues. Anne, AT LEAST try to find a job while your in-laws can temporarily take care of your 4th baby so you can save up and earn money for your family. This isn't the 19th century anymore, women are capable of working too, have some dignity.
Thanks for the uploads, I appreciate them.
There are so many moochers in the Philippines
Your right

YES hello Mark Nowhere man maganda tanghali po sa inyo thankyou welcame friend
She said earlier that they want to go back to Bicol. Instead of paying a lawyer, why doesn't the land owner pay for their transportation? I imagine it would be cheaper than all of the legal fees.
Keep up the good work Mark and your team.
Thank you for sharing this awareness.
I live in the Caribbean and I have never seen that level of poverty.
Sad to see people suffering because of the failure of the government. The government need to have programmes to empower and lift these people out of poverty.
Education is the key to help a country out of poverty. Sorry to see so many young brilliant children at home who cannot get an education
People who say that the Philippines has the world's most beautiful beaches obviously haven't been to the islands of/in the Caribbean.
For decades, experts say that the Caribbean islands have the most beautiful ocean water and beaches on this planet. The heck, even the astronauts who go to outer space say the same thing, because they see the turquoise ocean water from above.
Give my regards to our Caribbean brothers and sisters out there.
Yours,
Mark
P.S. Phuket, Thailand has the most beautiful beaches in South East Asia, not the Philippines.

Sana mabalikan nila si sky kawawa naman baka hindi na nakaka take bg medication niya para sa kanyang thyroid 😢
I don’t blame the land owner the young lady should be working to help her family but keeps having kid after kid how is this going to help their problem I do feel for them though big problem there the kids suffer the most I think. Love your videos my friends❤❤❤
So funny you made statements about more viewers are interested in your videos featuring young teens..... and you normally give them more stuff. They are the ones who normally get treated to a shopping trip and a day of beauty makeovers...... and they're the ones you come to visit in later update videos......
Good night Mark and team I hope the landowner have a change of heart and let them stay for the sake of the children
I feel so badly for this poor pup and aome many others tied up like so many others in the Philippines, they should be free from bondage so they can at least hunt for something to eat!!!
If at my country the strock passion got the insurance money from RM500 TO RM1000

you hate imperialism and capitalism, but you work in the USA, you receive money from Google (UA-cam), which was organized and founded in the USA. Are your patterns breaking?
I never said that I hate capitalism, not even once.
It's crony capitalism I despise.
Do you know what crony capitalism is?
Imperialism? Yeah, I hate imperialism.

This is why i support legal abortion. The living conditions are horrible for the children and they could be living better without children expenses. Not everyone has access/knowledge to birth control
This is heartbreaking. I wish I had a magic wand so I would give everyone a home and food to eat, but in the real world, that is just a fairytale. If it were up to me, I would open my home to the elderly/children/sick/ETC.. I prey that your message gets across to ALL that need to see it.
I love the looks on the kids it reminds me of my childhood . Thank you for being A humanitarian we need more people like you in the world guys ♥ Peace and love from an old Viking in Iceland ♥.
Mark also this elderly couple and their 3 grandchildren need a little treat. Hopefully with a donation from myself and some others that are gracious enough to donate you could take them out for a treat of some kind please and thank you 🙏❤🙏 Especially those 3 little children they seem very grateful for the 5 sacks of rice..... the one little boy even blew a kiss at the camera❤ Again, Thank you Mark for all that you do to help these people and educate us about the proverty in the Philippines.
They are only 64 years old and so broke down 😢 I'm 70 and still work part time out of being bored.
I pray God blesses you enough so that you may retire and rest for the remainder of your years left on this Earth, in Jesus mighty name.❤
