About the chia seeds, this is a popular way to sub eggs in vegan dishes as well as make hair setting lotion --- you can boil them in a sauce pan whole and get a similar egg-white consistency, but the trick is to strain them through a tea strainer while the gel is still hot and liquid. When it sets up, no seeds!

Hi Lisa, I have read that you can take eggs that you've beaten and freeze them. You would take two eggs at time as many baking recipes use that amount and beat them and you can add 1/4 tsp of salt or sugar depending on what you are making. snack size bags to hold each of these servings can be stored in a larger ziploc freezer bag. The are supposed to thaw back to normal and work very well in a recipe. Thank you for all of your ideas and info I can't wait to try them! Happy Holidays to you and your family

Thanks so much, Amy! I need to freeze more eggs...I think they'll keep about a year in the freezer...wishing you a very merry Christmas and all good things to you in the coming year :)

Try ground flax seed meal instead of the chia seeds. 1/2 a large banana. Or silken tofu. There is also a product called EnerG egg replacer, it’s a powder so it stores nicely in the pantry. Great video!❤️

@@asimpleseason2616 Thanks Lisa. If you check out any vegan baking books (lots available at the library) you will find lots of egg and dairy free recipes.❤️

My Mom always used a packet of knox gelatin, mixed with luke warm water for 1 egg. It's nice and gloopy, like an egg. No flavor of egg, but works for baked goods texture.

Excellent advice! For the holidays our Winco has had 60 eggs for less than $7. It’s been wonderful with having company and more people to feed. And I must say your fingernails are beautiful!!!

That is awesome! We don't have Winco here but I hear of so many great deals from there!
Thanks for the compliment on my nails...I thought it'd be fun to do something different...I had a box of those glue on nails in my stash of products so I used those and painted them :)
