You are by far the greatest podcast host, you allow the listeners to hear the speaker whilst you pick the pieces that people didn’t notice.

Jaime, listening to you has helped me turn my life around and be stronger in my faith with Christ. I've struggled with my relationship with him for many years and your teachings have helped build a more solid foundation in him. Lord thank you for Jaime and all he has done for you and for others,I pray you continue to work on me, that one day I may be as filled with your spirit as this man is. I surrender to you!

Knowing the word of God pierces bone and marrow( Hebrews

Is he referring to Sound of Freedom? It feels like there’s something new based on the timing of all this but I could help but think this is tied together with that when I was watching it.
I’m on my third listen through this podcast. Soooo good!!

Jamie is helping me expose the lie of my false identity and I’m still working through finding my true identity, who does Christ see when He looks at me.
Jamie, if I can do anything for you…please let me send you a new office chair. 😉 lol

one advisor once said, "Do it afraid! But just do it!" Sometimes the fear creates the adrenalin that makes us sharper and more ready and alert, so then it's a good thing! I welcome the butterflies in the stomach because when I haven't had them I've royally screwed up... too much self confidence! (maybe a little pride operating there too? before the fall?)

Before I became a Christian I did a ton of personal transformational work with Landmark education formerly known as EST. I would assert that the word transformation inside the larger domain of language exists as it does because of the work of Landmark. I find Christianity woefully lacking in language, structure and nomenclature by which to utilize our free will, the power to create, and the power of the Holy Spirit to remove blocks, self-doubt and negative horrible self-talk, returning to the Yoke of Slavery Gal 5:1, which I find prevalent within Christians. I've been attracted to Jamie's work since the beginning because he speaks of identity and I see him struggling to create language that allows for the exploration and understanding of our entrenched identity, the creation of a child's mind, how to complete our past, forgiveness and repentance, and how to generate a future that calls us powerfully forward, possibility and making a difference. My suggestion to Jamie Winship would be to go do the Landmark Forum and take what you learn and apply it to Christianity. I currently have a book I'm writing doing that exact thing.

Here is what I find so interesting. God told Moses I Am that I Am. And Jamie keeps saying Why Am I, Why Am I. It seems like at this point we are struggling with mirroring God.😁

I’m sorry, honestly no disrespect intended…I too have been here…till my eyes were opened. How can we talk about transformation without referring to Romans 5-8….Paul’s foundation for chapter 12.
Having REVELATION of the finished work, my co-crucifixion and co-resurrecting with Christ…Gal. 2:20… that is what changed everything!
    Martin Lloyd Jones:
“Understand that the old man is not there. The only way to stop living as if he were still there is to realize that he is not there. That is the New Testament method of teaching sanctification. The whole trouble with us, says the New Testament, is that we do not realize what we are, that we still go on thinking we are the old man, and go on trying to do things to the old man. That has been done; the old man was crucified with Christ. He is non-existent; he is no longer there. If we but saw this as we should, we would really begin to live as Christians in this life.

Thanks for asking, Bonnie. No, not at all. I hold to a historical Christian orthodoxy which includes a high view of Scripture among other things.

    You were
Formed by Jesus Christ (Jeremiah 1) to be
Reformed in Christ (Hebrews 9: 10) at salvation, and then be
Transformed for Christ (Romans 12) and surrendered to be
Conformed with Christ in His sufferings (Philippians 3: 10) the He can
Perform the work He began (Philippians 1: 6) until Christ be
Formed in you (Galatians 4: 19).

I wanted to hear how the title was integrated within the podcast conversation.
I was intrigued by the statement "transformation requires surrender."
I was surprised that the "surrender" idea that was brought up late in the video was the process of "stopping" to move forward. And this makes me think of the places in Scripture where it is important to "INQUIRE" of God.
In the, for what it's worth, category, I was expecting them to talk about the necessity of surrendering our rebellion and infidelity to our creator by the distraction of idols. I think a precondition to allow us to release our grasp on an idol is surrendering to God's infinite glory, and the exchange of dropping our obsession fixation habit or addiction of hanging onto a household [or other] idol. (Wasn't it Rachel who got caught red-handed?)
      *****
In sum, here is a two-fold theory of how surrender is a prerequisite to transformation.
      *****
And as you go about becoming a disciple and making disciples....
      1. Inquire of the Lord, and
      2. Drop your idols.
The secret to your success in seeing the unseen landscape and walking in the kingdom is found in complete humility, which requires, complete surrender.
