    ABOUT THIS VIDEO:
Shot Scope has become really well known for making solid products on the value end of the spectrum. Because of this, I've found most of their products aren't necessarily perfect.
This holds true with the Pro L2 rangefinder. There's a lot they do right, but there are two big hangups with this specific device.
The good news? At $149, or $127.49 with a discount code, the price makes up for the deficiencies in the product, making it the least expensive rangefinder I currently recommend (by a long shot).

I just walked into golf galaxy and the L2 had clearer optics than the Max 3 and the Tour V6 😳 maybe a lot of it had to do with if you make the background clear and crispy, the numbers get fuzzy and this happened on the Bushnell and the Blue Tees. The L2 had clear background and clear numbers. I've never used a rangefinder before so I was playing with the eye piece, but mostly because I just bought one. The shot scope pro zr. I spent a week looking over all of them. Was going to get the NX9 and then decided to splurge on the Cobalt Q4. But then I came across one on Amazon that I hadn't seen before, the Pro ZR. There weren't any reviews yet but it had all of the features I'd want and that the cobalt lacked (changing red/black and a magnet). I know you said the Tour V6 is comparable to the cobalt q4 in optics so I tried to see if it was indeed more to see. It's kinda not fair since 6x vs 7x but I also didn't see much difference between 6x and 7x. If I had to guess, they all felt the same actually. I was only looking across the store and into the bays but still. The L2 was by far the clearest. So now this makes me really excited for the Pro ZR. I dont know how much I'll like the coloring of it, on the website the grays look darker but in unboxing videos, the grays look... well, gray. And that's disappointing. If I don't like the look in person I'll return it and get a cobalt q4 and a magnet, even though I hate how the magnet straps look. The cobalts could be sooooo good if they added showing the straight line and corrected distance and have a magnet. Oh well.
Edit: after watching the video, I did want to edit my comment. The scan did work for me. Just hold it down. So I'm wondering if you got a faulty device?

Dude, great honest review. Gave the discount code a try not expecting it to work here in Scotland but it did. Never had one before and seeking to consistently break 80! 🙏

I have the H4 and the LX rangefinder and love both especially when you combine the h4 with the rangefinder no complaints and they have a very responsive customer service

Hey Sean, quick question, would you recommend the Precision Pro NX10 or the Cobalt Q-4 Slope? Really can’t decide as they’re basically the same price.

@breakingeighty to be fair, I have nothing to gauge it against as it's my first one... always just used a GPS watch- keep up the great work 👍
