I have seen this property for sale for a long time. Thank you Luis for being professional and honest by mentioning that there is no habitation license. It is unfortunate that there are so many interesting properties in Portugal that have been renovated or upgraded by their owners but have no license. I wish the government would make an exception for the current inventory of unlicensed houses and grant them licenses. 🤔

Not necessarily - 1250m square of agricultural land could he bought for a few thousand. I don't think you would get planning permission to build a permanent structure on this land. I think the structure shown is barely legal, and the price strikes me as crazy!

The value in this property is the $$ saved in housing costs by the previous owner. Unfortunately, none of that will be realized by the buyer
In the U/K a property like this with Land would cost way, way more that this even if you could find one. This Could make someone a very nice home.
