Ive never heard this piece before, and I loved it, it truly brought a smile to my face. So excellent, it's a shame some people in the world see through talent like this, therefore never experiencing the wonders and feeling the emotions that comes with REAL Music. Joe hisaishi is incredible :)
Love, love, love. This would've been an amazing concert to have been at. I keep 2:30 to 4:19 on repeat. I love the bass line in this song - the song would be fine without it but it grounds it and lends a more contemporary feel to something that would otherwise sound more classical.
I think the mandarin translation is Er Hu, cantonese translation is Yee Woo. I heard from my father, that the musician is from a group called "12 girls band" very popular throughout the Asian region, and as we can see she's very talented. Oh heck they're all talented.. :)

i'm not sure if she's playing a koto ar a guzheng. i think it's a guzheng but they're practically the same and they all sound beautiful.
