Do the straws smell when you iron over them? I have about 450 straws that I collected throughout the summer and I want to do a project with them to get the message across to my town how much littering can impact an neighborhood. Thought about a large globe that maybe could hang on the wall of our community center. Also it isn’t just straws, people have to remember that at one time there was a cup and a cover. Would you have any ideas? I’ve soaked them in hot bleach and soap water and dried them. There are mainly blue, orange and red straws.

Hot glue binds porous things.not plastic.. i tried the phone case n project with perler beads. that hot glue does NOT bind them. Nor does it make magnets stick to plastic
