I think the additional hair loss is from not thoroughly detangling before shampooing. I only comb my hair every two weeks and the Generic Paul Mitchell Detangler. It’s game changer!

I think from what a stylist on here said, if your hairspray has alchols in it you can only use it on dry hair, because that allows the alcohols to evaporate, so they wont dry your hair out. If its alcohol free then for wet hair its fine

I started using hair spray and love it (reside in HOTlanta). It may have been the brand + using heat to seal. I use it when I air dry and it definitely has stretched my wash and go’s! Beautiful curls btw!

Congratulations on the new house, try hairspray on dry hair, because I have been using hairspray when my hair is dry and it works for me, it could be the hairspray your using try a different hairspray and see if it makes a difference.
Do you use a leave in before your stylet? I may have missed it. Your hair is beautiful! I have an appt with Salon Skanda in a few weeks.

Alyssa, your bangs are long so how do you get it to shrink up above your eyes or does it do it on its own with shrinkage? Hopefully my question made sense lol

I was looking for a curly/natural review on the Jolie shower head as I just moved into a new place and am considering a filtered shower head. Having had it for months are you still enjoying it? Have you noticed a difference in the softness and retention of your hair? Your comments about shedding while detangling were hilarious! 😆 honestly girl, SAME! I always have a TON of shedding in my brush when detangling after protective styles and I’ve been freaking out over it 😅 (is it normal?? Who knows) glad to know I’m not alone though lol.
