I love the pearl. I bought all your towels in the past 3 weeks. The pearl feel is amazing and so is the 365. Then there is the Eagle 350/500!. I like just holding it .😎 I use the eagle to go over the end result after using the Pearl or 365 to get the nice finish without scratching.
Can't beat the 365 and FTW towels for versatility. My first TRC towel was actually the 365. Used it to wipe off a thick paint sealant. In the first few seconds of using it it was clear to me, that is a detailers wingman. I used other towels before and thought this is just another terry towel. Nope. Far from it. The blend of characteristics is a joy to use. I love the slightly thicker side, it's soft, yet it has bite, it glides, yet it absorbs, it's gentle and it gets the job done, without linting, wash after wash. And it's affordable. Thank you guys and gals at TRC. I know Eagle is probably the famous towel, but the 365 is the most important to me, alongside the FTW towel.
Hey Anthony! I have a quick question, why does the Creature edgeless lint alot from the edges? Ive tried trimming off the edges a bit to create a more finer edge but lints in time still. Though i havent used it yet cause i just got it. Perhaps it will stop linting in time?
I know this is an old video, but would the edgeless 300 be similar in compound/polish removal compared to the 365? My understanding is that it'll have more bite which means I need to make sure not to apply excess pressure when buffing these products off
If your concerned about pressure, you can go with the 365, Pearl or even the Ultra Rip N' Rag. You'll get a good amount of bite from both the 300 and 365, but folding in 4th's always help..... I hope that helps.
Edgeless 365’s or Creature Edgeless are probably our most popular “do-it-all” towels. They’re not going to clean windows as well as a dedicated glass towel or dry a car as fast as a dedicated drying towel, but they’re versatile and great for wiping sealants, waxes, polishes, etc.
The Creature, Spectrum or Edgeless 365 are gonna be the best fit for that job-- If you use bead maker or another similarly-slick agent to help you wipe off you could also opt for the Eagle 350.
