- Small towns in Australia tend to have a Main Street, and in Laidley, the main street is Patrick Street.
Laidley is a country town about 1 hours drive west of Brisbane. It has a population of around 4,000 people and has a vibrant and colourful main street. There are a number of pubs, some which are quite historic. Heritage listed buildings seen in this video are Whitehouse Bakery, the Exchange Hotel and G Wyman Building.
It was a beautiful day to wander down Patrick Street and soak up the sights and sounds of amazing Laidley.

Walking Alice it is quite a nice town and some of the buildings are fairly historic. The place with the yellow door isn’t really special. Just a pub but it was open so I thought I’d take a peek inside.

Halibee Walking it can get hot but isn’t right now. In a few weeks it will be 30-40 degrees Celsius

How did you go in the latest flood mate? I lived in Laidley for 3 years moved out late 2021. Lived at 13 Orton Street. You're right it's a great little town miss it
