so bts finallllllly arrived in europe! i flew from scotland to attend the show and visit some friends (i used to live in amsterdam) so it was an extremely busy weekend but so much fun.
💛 QUEUING 💛
after getting 2 hours sleep, i arrived at the ziggo dome at 6:30am and at this time it was absolute CHAOS because the venue hadn't set up the barricades yet (i honestly don't think they expected so many people to turn up so early).
when i arrived there were dozens of police officers forming a barricade to try push fans back from the square outside the arena. the front of the queue was so densely packed with fans and i saw an ambulance arrive - apparently to help someone who got trampled on when the overnight queue rushed forward towards the venue doors :(
at this point, there was one big line for GA and VIP ticket holders and people wanting to buy merch. i joined the back of the line and it was so chill compared to the front. after about 2 hours, venue staff starting separating the line into GA and VIP. also some fans gave out some really cute fan project freebies, as seen in the pics at the start of the video!
my section of the queue was brought forward to the vip line at about 9am. at this point, there was about 60 people already sat in the line for vip left and another 60 people in the line for vip right (less than i was expecting tbh). i ended up getting wristband #80 for vip right.
once we were wristbanded we were free to leave the queue to use the bathroom/buy food etc. i held spaces for some armys who went to queue for merch which took about 3 hours :o
at around 1:30pm they started checking us in for our official wristbands and vip lanyards - they also checked id. then at 4pm doors opened for soundcheck! the venue did a pretty good job keeping people in numerical order and the lines for each side were split into several smaller groups to stagger our entry into the pit area.
💛 SOUNDCHECK 💛
i stood at the extended stage in the 2nd row. by the time soundcheck started i was really tired and my memories of it barely feel real tbh lmaooooo. of course we weren't allowed to take photos or videos so the fact i have no photo evidence makes it feel even more unreal in my memory.
we were doing fanchants and bts just appeared on stage so casually and OSGNESRGS;OONS it was so surreal. they all looked SOOOOO good!!! seeing them with no makeup, NOT WHITEWASHED (!!!) and wearing their casual clothes was so so so nice.
they sang run, dna and mic drop. jungkook hopped around the extended stage for run and dna but took a seat during mic drop because of his foot injury.

- namjoon was wearing a leather jacket, black jeans, beanie and round sunglasses. i remember his look so clearly because he looked so good in it sognseogres. he was filming the crowd too

- tae was wearing parka with a big furry hood and his hair was kinda messy n cute
- jin had on a purple sweatshirt i think it had like a collegiate letter type graphic on it? he looked even better in person if that's possible
- yoongi was dressed in black and white and had a bucket hat on - also his bare face is sooooo nice i was so heart eyes
omg jungkook tries sooooo hard to make eye contact with everyone in the crowd he is so sweet :'( :'( he smiled at our lil section during dna and i thought my heart was about to melt. hoseok was so high energy jumping around and trying to dance with everyone :') also when taehyung came out on stage he was walking down the runway and he started at our part of the crowd for 5 seconds straight and like ....... he is so intimidatingly beautiful i had to break eye contact because i can't handle it lmaoooooooooo
honestly they seemed pretty tired, especially jin, but they tried really hard to interact with us all. it was such an intimate setting and it really put into perspective for me just how much they care about their fans by allowing them access to moments like this and genuinely look happy to see them there. when they left the stage they were smiling and waiting and said 'see you later!' which was cute.
💛 GENERAL VIP PIT EXPERIENCE 💛
i stood at the extended stage for both soundcheck and the show. we sat down for the majority of the 3 hours between soundcheck end and the show start. VIP IS SO SPACIOUS! i am still in shock how much spare there was to move around. i moved back to the 3rd row during the actual show and for the majority of the concert, there wasn't a 4th row of people behind me. so i was able to reposition myself to get a good view of the main stage while they were performing on there, but could also very easily go back to my extended stage spot, just behind the barricade.
It was so lit!!!!!

They keep showering holy water so that our trash asses will hopefully be more pure 😂

Hi! I stood right and jk, jimin and hoseok interacted with our side the most, so I'd recommend standing left for taehyung. And yes the last 3 songs are encore :)

Hi OMG. I just got my tickets and I got 300ish for the queue. Do u think I would be able to be near the barricade?😭😭
@@GoldLoveable hi congrats on getting ur tickets!! :) did you get GA or VIP?
@@emmyem apparently Singapore doesn't have VIP so its standardised for the standing pits 😭😭 but they did issue us a queue number when we purchase our tickets so that there won't be any overnight queueing!
