- The WNBA is officially coming to Toronto.
Kilmer Sports Ventures has been awarded a women's professional basketball team. The as-yet-unnamed team will play out of Coca-Cola Coliseum, an arena in downtown Toronto at Exhibition Place.
Did a billionaire just say that the WNBA was a "good investment"???
actually yes. it’s really because Clark has brought a lot of new eyes to the league so Toronto is trying to capitalize on the new fans & eyes. It’s been a market for it but now they finally see it lol
@sabertoothliar the WNBA loses money every year. They only exist due to NBA funding.
wnba..... registered as a non profit 😂😂😂
Wow they are lucky that the NBA sponsor the WNBA
So what
I just heard the radio saying about how great of news this was and how excited people were. I said to myself, that can't be right, so I came to check the comment section. So yeah, 0 excitement here. Keep reading teleprompters and nodding and smiling a lot. U do a good job.
They don't need to exite everybody. They just need to exite enough people to have an audience.
@@anotherelvis😂
Wow things are really changing for the worst
Not one 7 foot woman in WNBA. Shaq can come out of retirement and domlnate the league.
Nobody wants this team.
Nobody watches women's basketball.
More women in Ontario watch NFL.
Where is the NFL team?
Lower the rim. Create more excitement. And maybe the WNBA will make money. Best of luck Toronto.
