First heard of Richard when I had to work in an Art gallery for work experience. 16 years old and fell in love straight away...20 now and still can’t get enough. Friends aren’t the biggest fan of me blasting “art gallery” music in the car lol! How good

Richard i heard your interview last week on Radio Suffolk whilst out in the car with my 82yr old Mother. We normally listen to LBC Radio at that time of night but our favourite LBC Radio Host wasn't on so by off chance i decided to listen to FM Radio instead & we heard this interview with yourself & Steven Foster & this above song was the first song we heard. OMG what can i say Mate apart from it is ABSOLUTELY AWESOME. It's such a simple song too but i can't stop playing it. I'm sure i will Flog it to Death eventually :-) but i haven't got fed up of it yet after a week.
We had never heard of you before SERIOUSLY & it isn't very often that a song comes along that i adore but Mother Loves it too which is rare! God Bless you Mate.
It really blows me away how people can put words & music together like you can however i have No Time Whatsoever for these talent shows who give these 2 a penny wannabe's fame overnight who only last 5 minutes. Those sort haven't got the skill to make something of their own have they! I used to get Cheesed Off with Top of the Pops towards the end because most of them used to mime & was absolutely useless playing LIVE.
Richard if you remember that song by 'Elbow' (One day like this)? He performed that once with the BBC Concert Orchestra. I wish you had that opportunity Mate. That is the only thing i like about the BBC by the way.

I highly recommend checking out Coles Corner and Truelove's Gutter. They've been in constant rotation for me since they came out 10-15 years ago.

Just seen Richard at Kelvingrove bandstand Glasgow!!! One of the best gigs ive ever been too EVERRRR!!
I was at that gig too...the day before I returned to Boston U.S.A (ex-pat). I've been to concerts since the late seventies but this was up there with the best. Glasgow was my introduction to Richard Hawley and I bought Coles Corner within two days of seeing him! Great songwriter and beautiful music.
I miss Sheffield.
