Its amazing how much this stuff has been taken over by Manga craze. Over sixty percent. Now, if you still want to see american comic books or merchandise, they do have it. But you have to HUNT for it. You have to "dig and patrol " through the crowds of life to find the right booths. I am sure there is a section where the comic books are being sold.
pretty sure it comes down to who wants to represent. if dc and marvel don't want to showcase they won't pay for space. its crazy all the money made from the movies and such doesn't always trickle down to the comics and fun stuff like conventions..unfortunately.
