Lost everything while writing. Great to see Kirsten in the James Hendry habitat! I really enjoyed watching all of this (and smiling about the usual JH sense of humour).
WOW the opening slo- mo giraffe combat - really shows the power behind those hits .. I was mesmerised. You really captured the love and connection within lion pride and that end shot straight into those beautiful amber eyes .. breathtaking. Thank you so very much - the banter between you & Kirsten is hilarious ... the BBC don’t know what they’re missing Marianne NZ
Ah! Such lovely sightings! Loved it. It must be fun for Kristen to have so much entertainment on hand. You two are so cute together 🥰. And those two versions of the 5th was so well edited! Kudos to Kristen! Thank you again.

I'll never forget my first encounter with James - he was in a dark tent with skulls and I questioned what the heck I was watching, him recounting what the BBC would say at his amazing cheetah footage made me question it again. Much
You always have the music in perfect sync with the animals. The giraffe shot was amazing. The jackals were even laughing at your fire attempt. LOL It was like I was there looking into that lion's eyes. WOW! Thanks for the BBC laughs. They don't know what they are missing. Thanks again James and Kirsten.
The color and clarity of this particular episode seemed noticeably sharper - the greens were greener, the browns more brown....always love me some giraffes necking and lions doing...well....just about anything - or nothing at all !! Fabulous once again, Mr. Hendry - many thanks !
Delightful and charming as always. Love the playful music with the lions especially. And the classic silly James Hendry narration of the BBC coming calling……Kirsten’s reaction was hilarious!
Kirsten and James, another excellent episode. You have mastered the art of "leave them wanting more", pardon my Barnum. Looking forward to the next one!
Really enjoyed all the sightings. The giraffe were magnificent. The lion pride was wonderful. The cubs playing and the Moms showing their affection for each other. The calls of the jackals were so eerie, especially in the dark of night. Thank you both.
Thank you for another Friday adventure. The giraffes looked determined to harm each other. I had a momentary thought...how could they do that to each other. Then I remembered what people do to each other.😢. Blessings...
As always, James is amusing. Botswana is a beautiful place to visit. Kristen, the music you coordinate is brilliant. I am eagerly looking forward to a new episode.
Thanks for sharing and choosing the eternally wonderful music of my fellow countryman Ludwig van B. for the intro. Would have been his 250th birthday last year. 🎼 Cheers
I think you should start tours, I would be one of your first takers. We have watched all your videos and just too sad not to see more appearing. Do a photography / guided tour pls 🙏
Finally got to see the fighting giraffes - excellent! And the jackals screaming in the dark at the end was freaky - I would be scared to death as it sounds like people screaming!
I just love your music selections with the wildlife shots. I first saw you in the live videos during the pandemic. Your remarks are perfect and I really hope the BBC invites you to film for them.
It would appear that the jackals were actually laughing at James fire lighting skills !!! A copy of Bear Grylls "Survival Guide in Africa " would have come in quiet handy.
“HEY James, Mr, Bloominthal is on the phone for you” He wants you to draw illustrations of all the animals you filmed in Botswanan! Apparently they want to publish a Comic Book about Alien Animals Living on Earth! 😂
When we camped when I was a kid, it was very dyi. My Dad built a trailer and my sisters and I would sleep in it Uber a tied down tarp. Once it rained...in the Everglades...the tarp filled with water. I awoke because it of the weight. And the wet...dyi tarps touched when wet leak...an important life lesson, I yelled and my father rescued us. My mother was not amused, next trip we had our own tent. From which the skunk event I described earlier sprang.
OMG i miss this hilarity at Djuma, I wud say its a shame to only get 15 min of this a week but that siunds about right for what the Djuma guides get now.. especially if it something amazing bcuz then we surely have to go watch someone driving at Tswalu 😂 THANKS for still sharing yourselves with us James and Kirsten
did not know you had another video. I was enjoying the outdoors and when i opened up you tube it said there was a video. At least i did not miss a chat. I really love the color of the faces on young lions. The darker brown and no scars.
The lion shots were amazing. I love to watch the interactions between young ones and the older lions. I am watching again, thanks. BTW, National Geographic should be calling soon.
Wonderful as always. The giraffe battle in slow motion was so interesting to watch. I flinched with every hit. The lions always are fascinating to watch. I'm not sure I would enjoy the jackals calls at night. Thank you both for sharing with us and providing an escape from the world's news. Kirsten, the website looks fantastic! Looking forward to next week's episode.
Great lions, cubbies & cheetah segments! Kirsten I love your expressions at the camera! Well done on the music editing! Stay blessed & look forward to the next one!
Do you think the Cheetah was carrying a young Ostrich? I think Mr Bloominthal (sp) may well be intouch with you one of these days James and Kirsten. James, your wisdom knows no bounds....I bred GSD's and tho' I never called one Sacha....two people who bought pups from me did and decided to choose Sacha for the pet name of their pup. See you both in the next episode ❤🌹
There’s something very Very aesthetically pleasing about the curvature of that Springbok’s horns ( whom comes into frame around 02:05 & who exits green stage right a few moments later) I’m not as knowledgeable about the flora and fauna of South Africa like You both. So I could be totally wrong here but was that a Grey Rhebok that that Cheetah was carrying?................. ⚛️☮️ 💚🐾 🌏

Au contraire. I thought the music fitted very well with the giraffes moves. Were they doing a waltz? James Hendry shows the brilliance that sets him apart from others trying to do the same thing. The BBC really should give him a call
Looks like the cheetah had a young ostrich
I think you are right Thomas
That was my thought too.
Lost everything while writing. Great to see Kirsten in the James Hendry habitat! I really enjoyed watching all of this (and smiling about the usual JH sense of humour).
The giraffe ballet was phenomenal! Perfect musical choices throughout, and the human animals were charming as well

I think so, the roads were not bad at all compared to Savuti and Chobe.
A+ James and Kristen! Outstanding Video quality and content...
Thanks James and Kristen for sharing your stellar adventures !! 🎆🛺🌞🔥🦁🦓
...always thd wittiest banter...I love if ! ☺
Was that carcass with the cheetah an ostrich
I think so!
Brought you to the lake to watch
Just love the lion cubs! We love all your vlogs
Glad you like them!
Thanks so much! Great footage!
Thanks for watching
wonderful! Those were 2 different giraffe species weren't they? One reticulated the other maasai?
These two are the same, I think one was a bit younger. They are Southern giraffe
Beautiful pictures!
Thank you very much!
Great videography.
great episode. I was wondering, I know you are highly trained and experienced but are you ever afraid in the dark of night out in the bush?
We are not afraid but we are very alert and constantly checking the bushes to avoid any surprises in the night...
Any word from the Beeb?
Yes, they would like the cheetah footage for Planet Earth 3!
The cheetah was carrying an ostrich chick...
Agreed!
Was that cheetah perhaps carrying a juvenile ostrich?
Could have been!

thats what i was thinking too!
Looks like concerned apprehension
maybe it isnt the prettiest execution, but you build a fire like indigenous western cultures
James have you retired from Wild safari now? I have missed you so much along with a host of others. Hopefully we see you soon.
Yes I have, I'm now working for Africa Geographic
Do both female and male impalas have horns?
No only impala males have horns. The ones in the video are springbok and both male and females have horns.
Together
The cheetah looked like it had a vulture
Have a look at the long legs - I think ostrich chick
@@JamesHendry, yeah could very well be 👍🏻
