Something has to be done with Umpires and strike zones, it doesn’t work and never will, Soto has a better understanding of the strike zone than most of the umpires, how can that be possible.
They are so bad. Both teams have no idea what’s going to be called a strike. He got Soto three times in one at bat. 6 straight balls and he was out on strikes lol

That's right. It must be understood that the definition of a left-right strike is "when the ball even slightly passes home plate," and not when the ball reaches the catcher's mitt.

I hope the move to Vegas is atleast a good thing for the players. Oakland has always had good teams that could battle and ruin your day. Maybe a little investment in them can help them become the next orioles or the next Royals or diamondbacks.

AAA is already utilizing the AI ump. Only a matter of time until MLB uses it. The umpires union will fight it but I just don’t know how they’ll be able to argue against it when so many bad calls are getting made.

@@SoSoMolecular If they had been winning 5-4, instead of losing 3-4 (what the Yankees did with Clay Holmes this time). Closers are called to the mound to save the result in winning situations, and coaches always try to limit their pitching as much as possible.

Wow these umpires and their balls/strikes calls, it gave Yankees the win in the end so I'll take it but this is seriously ridiculous. And I know they have a good record so far on 1 run games but they need to open the gap a little more, it can't be this way all the time.
