FINALLY! A person who purchased a Yeti product and does a review WITH BOTTLE BEER!!! 🙌🏼 I’ve hate searching for reviews because everyone that buys Yeti acts like they don’t know what bottled beer is. Again, thank you.
I always wanted the 12 but it seems I'll never really use all of the extra space. I reckon the 8 will do me just fine for lunch and drinks for work and my fishing days. great video mate really appreciate it.
I like your review because you addressed the same questions I was wondering. It’s nice how you demonstrated the different sizes too. Even if I will be carrying different items or bottles they will be similar height. I’ve bought cooler or bags that were perfect for what I need only to be annoyed because the ice pack or accessory wouldn’t fit. I’m still undecided on which but your video will definitely be a factor in the process of making my choices. I wish I could have both! The audio is good as well as the lighting and I like the way so speak clearly and carefully. One room for improvement would be to stand your camera on a table or mount your camera on a lamp or stand just so the video moving around as you use your hands to demonstrate. Thanks for taking the time and sharing.
IMO the 8 is only good for serving as a very expensive lunch box. Once you add ice there really isn't much room. I have a Flip 18 and I couldn't imagine going smaller than that. It is easy to carry and take with me. I can pack it for a trip to the pool or pack it for 4 people for a trip on our boat. Much more versatile.
Just bought an Ozark Trail Leaktight 20 can knockoff of this for $50. If I remember, I’ll let you know how it works. I can’t justify spending almost $200 more to get a yeti that holds two less cans
The 8 is only worth it for a golf cart, otherwise the cost/size ratio doesn’t quite work for me. The roadie 24 hard cooler over the 12 imho, unless you just dig the soft cooler.now the flip 24 backpack…..
Does any of those yeti lunch bag coolers come with like a small department like a smaller pocket for storage let’s say for example solve to leave your eating utensils?
Wow so your saying the Yeti 8 holds 8 beverages and the Yeti 12 holds 12 beverages and you can fill them with ice and they will go between beverages??👍
Amen brother! Holding beer is what i buy them for too! I've learned that the idiots at Yeti don't think. I use Freeze Pak pouches, screw Yeti and their stupid blocks!
Thanks for responding. The 8 fits perfectly and the lagunitas bottles fit upright no problem. 8 cans and 2 gatorades in each hopper flip. I bought two, 1 for each cart of a foursome. Worked perfectly
I apologize! A bottle of apothic red fits in both (lays in the 12 and diagonal in the 8), actually fits similar to the growler.I just took the 12 out on a road trip and it was pretty perfect for everything I took.
I have a hopper 18. Fits about 5 bottles of wine with ice laying down . You can fit 6 with without ice. I use it for weekend camping trips, at the beach, or when I’m outside for long periods of time. Fits 18 16oz water bottles and 18 canned beers WITH ice.

Yeti and most brands ignore the bottles. The Yeti 24 is not beer bottle friendly at all
You had me at ”I’m a very indecisive person” 😂 this is me….I’m a big researcher before making such a big purchase. Thank you for this video

The Flip 8 is the one I got because it is small. If I need to carry more beers, I might as well get the hard plastic sided Yeti.
This was helpful. Standing up the beers and dropping ice between them is the absolutely key here for me.

This is the exact video I was looking for!! Thank you!
Man what a review. Exactly what I was looking for.
a size 10 would be nice
I hated mine until you said I had to prime it, I never knew. Thanks
Thank you so much for your video and demonstration. This will be my first Yeti purchase and you have helped with my decision. Going for the 12. :-)
6 beers and 6 waters? ummmm there is more then enough water in the beer so 12 beers way to go 👍

Thank you for this info.
Definitely the 12. If you're already spending the big bucks go with the bigger cooler. Thanks for the vid.
Nope. Might as well take a real cooler at that point
Doing gods work. Thank you sir.
Great review! Answered a lot of my questions.
12 means 12 12oz cans
8 means 8 12 oz cans
Prime the cooler
Put in already cold drinks in cooler
Then put in fresh ice all set for the day
Thanks for this! The 8 is a no go if you prefer bottle beer like I do
Exactly what I was looking for, thank you
Great video, helped me decide. Went for the 12.
Strait to da point: how does it hold beer 🤣
My third review, and finally got to the real answers of 8 vs. 12 for golf night, etc. Thank you for posting!
Will the 12 fit in a golf cart basket?
@@MellowMikesMind thats what I want to know, I’m guessing not.
Doing God's work
Great comparison 👍🏻
Very helpful! Heavy drinker = buy the 12!
small one for the golf cart and the 12 for the beach you got it all covered
This video was exactly the info I needed!
I think you're going to need the Tundra 105.
Yeti ice goes on bottom, it is so cold it refreezes melted ice so ice lasts longer.
Did you use the yeti hopper to record this video?
Love how your like let me grab some beer for unit if measurement 😂🎉
Can never have too much beer 🍺
Great review by the way. 👍🏻
This was extremely useful. Thank you!

I need the difference between the 12 and the 18 the more beer the better
great review.. like how you used the beer to fill the yeti... thanks

Super helpful! This was great as I was also in between which to get. Thanks!!😊

Amen brother! Holding beer is what i buy them for too! I've learned that the idiots at Yeti don't think. I use Freeze Pak pouches, screw Yeti and their stupid blocks!

What's with the low video resolution?
Will the 12 fit in the back of a golf cart?
pmozzone that’s the ultimate question
pmozzone I did some research and it looks like it doesn’t forum.mygolfspy.com/topic/19381-daves-take-yeti-hopper-flip-12/

Can hear you
what about a bottle of wine?
FloEvans I ended up keeping the 12, I'll get back to you whether it would fit a bottle of wine or not

Spit. It. Out.
Sheesh, just get on with it, be more concise, please.
fNo
you could get yourself a nice igloo for $20 dollars if your only headed out for the day.
Being out in the sun and drinking alcohol is a bad combo lol
kray brother we dont need your opinion
Andrew Mathews stfu
kray brother so mature of you
That’s the best and only place to drink!
