Driver 2 is my favorite game in the series, but missions like "Stop the Truck," "Find the Clue," "Steakout," "Chase the Gun Man," & Lenny gets caught" REALLY pissed me off.

The driver game were way ahead of it's time, the cutscenes of this game was unbelievable, the car driving was was batter even Vice city after years later didn't had car driving fixed, and diver 2 was ps1 game, man what a masterpiece this game become as year pas by ❤

So THATS how you were supposed to “Escape the compound” in Chicago, I literally never did it the right way ever!!! I would always run to the far end of the road with the van chasing me and juke him to turn back around on the main road and have him push me to glitch between the trucks and the wall and I always escaped that way, I NEVER KNEW I was supposed to go to the far end and re-enter the compound to get around the trucks lol
What made me furious about that mission is when you would be close to the airport with a few seconds to spare, and those fucking cops would appear RIGHT THERE next to the red arrow! I'm like, "Why? I'm already there!" That shit was infuriating & just flat out ridiculous.
I had to google if a plane like that ever existed when I saw that today. I was like “I’m so certain that never actually was a thing..” Hilarious. Little mini wannaB36 Peacemaker. Lol.
I had the fat ps1 case of Drivers. Then I got the ps2 game when that came out that to me rivaled GTA but it never took off. Driver for the ps2 was a really good game and variant of a GTA. We need a need a new driver
they finally done it they made driver 2 into an arcade game (5 year old me would not know what to think when it comes to driver 2 having graphics as good as daytona or crazy taxi and almost as good as gta 3) also cant wait for both the vib ribbon, parappa the rapper, sly cooper, ratchet and clank, goldeneye and perfect dark decomp to be finished as well even though they would never port these games to steam this is the closest thing to that
The game only in two hours. It took me the summer vacation to finish it. Tanner and Jones didn't return in 2002. They came back in 2004 with the worst game in Series of Driver. So Unfortunate, They could have beaten GTA.

After driver 1 i remember jumping on this one and just getting out of the car alone was mind boggling I dont think you were able to do that in number 1. So that would mean 4 cities and only 4 cars to drive?
Man so many memories. From the pixilated buildings and cars just appearing out of nowhere lol to the driving. You had to have some skill because there was so much play in the cars you would be sliding around everywhere but thats what made the game so great. And man I would always drive on the grass because the shocks of the car you would just be bouncing up and down. That grey sedan had to have the worst shock but made it fun to drive
those missions on Havana where soo hard when i was 12 years. I remember that i lost many times before pass each mission. I hadn't a memory card and ps1 was not mine, then i had some hours to play at day and in an opportunity i finished the game. Great memories.
When i was a kid didn't know english, i didn't know you can get out of the car as well why i couldn't progress the missions, so i just played crusin around until one day i got out of the car by accident pressing randomly buttons, i was shook by getting out of the car, the problem was, i couldn't find the combination buttons for a while, i was pressing everything, how tf i would know it was up dpad+ triangle
This game at the time was ahead of it's time, free roam with the ability to get out of cars and roam on foot, for ps1 it was a milestone
