If a white kid and a black kid had the same exact test scores and economic background the black student would absolutely have a better chance of getting into that college
Legit same! I grew up with food stamps and housing assistance with a single mother who worked 2 jobs and went to college full time to support us..but I guess my mom and I have white privilege
And now what do you know ... Why men stop simping and all their house of cards fall down to meet Nature and Survival ... They still blame each other LOL , I wonder if that had something to do with the Lesbian Marriage rate?
Im white and get followed in stores too. I cant get a loan, i cant buy a house. My family has no generational wealth, my grandparents struggle to get by.
To get into college a very large amount (idk what percentage) of white kids are putting any other ethnicity on their application so their chances go up of being chosen. Very sad.
To that black girls saying "White privilege", same goes to her. They have " Black previlege" to go to the college she goes. Some of the universities denies high score Asian students to take more of black students.. Stop being a victim, unless you personally experiance it. But then, being a victim has its own benefit....
These “yt” kids are in for a very rude awakening when they go job searching and find out who they are losing jobs to despite being more qualified than them.

I'm a Native American. I've never been oppressed. I've never seen White privilege. I had 12 years of education on the Rez, and not once have I ever heard that term used by any of my teachers who were both Native and White. This is what they're teaching your children. It's pathetic.
Hell yeah brother. Cherokee here. It's just a cultural and gift for these people. Blacks have nothing to complain about. The only thing they suffer from is a cultural issue
Native here also, only oppression we feel is from the state. other than that ive never seen or felt privilege either. went from eating dirt to having a full life and family. no one ever helped me along the way.
I agree partially. Wealth part no. Black women yes. When you combine rich, white, elite Democrat politicians with virtue signalling white Democrats you get to black privilege kind of. Privilege never ends well normally. Laziness and failure usually run the show for them. You dont want privilege, believe me. History clearly tells that story
I'm white. I grew up low income. I got the free school lunches. I remember my mom fighting tears, clipping coupons just to make ends meet. I still think about the gang shooting that happened in front of my childhood home, which was across the street from my elementary school. We didn't get any help. My family didn't oppress anyone, yet I get told I should pay reparations based on nothing but my skin color to someone else based on nothing more than theirs. My family came here fleeing the Nazi's ahead of WWII with only what they could carry. I'm sick of hearing all this dribble about how one group is soooo oppressed by the other, but they can't even see that to be able to point that out in public means that they aren't oppressed. If you think you get to demand ANYTHING you're not oppressed. You're entitled.
@@bellemisere I agree. Only a small fraction of whites owned slaves along with some blacks & natives. The majority of whites in the US stem from families that came after slavery ended. Mine were here by accident, due to WWII starting. It prevented my grandparents returning home from after trying to bring the body of my grandmother’s brother back to Ireland. My grandfather died leaving the family stranded. Afterwards, my mother was murdered & my father disappeared fighting in the Korean War. Then here I am, left to grow up in foster care, but my grandmother placed me with the nuns before she also died when I was 12. There were no benefits, just hard work & some good people that helped that also knew tragedy.
This is all I hear at my job. "White privilege" "male privilege"... blah, blah, blah. I'm the only male in my department, I have busted my backside to get where I have gotten. My fellow coworkers tell me I have "white male privilege written all over me." I'm freaking Puerto Rican!!!🤦 I swear if I was a woman, LGBTQAI+, or had darker skin, the stuff I hear and have people tell me would be "hate speech."
My husband and I are white and I can tell you there is no generational wealth anywhere in either of our families. When one of our daughters was trying to put herself through college, she was told by the financial aide office that if she was black or hispanic, she could have all the financial aide she wanted, but because she is white, she didn't qualify for hardly anything. So tell me again how privileged we are? I can trace my father's family back to one of the pilgrims and I can tell you that in all those hundreds of years, there has been no generational wealth. Just hard working people trying to get by.
AMEN. The land of the free needs RELEASED from the stranglehold of the democRAT elite sitting on the high horse. The fall from above hurts SO MUCH MORE when you're higher up. They will FIGHT tooth and nail to keep controlling and manipulative policies in play to hold back the country they milk for money and power. Their children WILL pay the price for the selfishness of this era of dems.
That's exactly what my daughter was told. The victim mindset in black kids is really the racism. It's a shame our kids go to college to be indoctrinated.
@@katiedoes3698 Yes it is. Thankfully, my daughter was trying to go into the medical field so her exposure to this nonsense was very minimal. My husband and I were shocked that the financial aide people came right out and told her this. She was in there weekly trying to get some financial aide and I think they got sick of her coming in there and finally told her she wasn't going to get any because she is white. If that isn't racism, I don't know what is. In the end, she left that community college and went to a private school to become an ultra sound tech. She had to take out a loan, but it was far cheaper than a 4 year degree and there was no indoctrination at the school. They just taught ultra sound technology. She is now one of the top techs in her field, she is never out of work and she makes great money and doesn't owe her soul to the bank.
My husband saw someone he knew inherit a trailer park once and asked "Why can't I get something like that?" and I said - "BECAUSE NO ONE IN YOUR FAMILY EVER MADE THE SACRIFICE TO ACCUMULATE SOMETHING TO PASS DOWN".
"Who's more likely to get a scholarship, a black or white kid?" Girl has no idea how many scholarships are exclusively helping black kids in that situation.
In reality a poor white kid is 95% more likely to want to attend college and can't get loans or scholarships but a middle class black doesn't want to attend college
It's not about that. When you use the phrase "I feel" it prevents other people from arguing or saying you are wrong because how can someone else tell you how you feel.

Did you catch how she said there are a few exceptions when talking about poor whites? She's completely unaware how rare millionaire grandparents are regardless of color. Poor kids scraping up or borrowing that last $2000 to pay tuition are way more common than kids from rich families.
Cause her grandparents are Jamaican people don’t know this but they’res a huge disconnect in the black community between black Americans, Caribbeans and Africans. Caribbeans and Africans can’t stand black Americans and it starts with the poor me mindset which most of us can’t stand
Maybe because they get special victim stars and rights, and it makes them feel they are morally superior? And it is the perfect tool to remove personal responsibility and accountability, or acceptance that most people in the world don't get to live a lavish dream life.
There is benefits to it. They’re artificially propped up .. gain more without the same amount of effort. It’s what “equity” prescribes for the marginalized so everyone ends up in the same place ( Kamala Harris promoted this) . The problem is when people define privilege and marginalized , not by facts, but to benefit themselves.

I’m first generation and grew up poor in Boston, and I’m white. My school was majority black, about 75%. I brought my lunch to school, usually pb&j sandwich or cheese sandwich, not much. We didn’t get ANY govt assistance, but we probably could have but my parents were too proud. Most of my black classmates got free hot lunches and free breakfasts. They wore nicer clothes than me. Lived in subsidized housing I remember sometimes my dad worked 3 jobs at a time. I got into an exam public high school that you had to pass an exam for. I found out the blacks didn’t have to score as high as the whites. I HONESTLY thought there was black privilege when I was a kid. Also, the teachers didn’t discipline the black students, they were too scared to be called racist.
Now they'll explain to you how your life is a privilege. In my country the best students who have the best results in education are the ones from the poor environment. They maybe poor but at the same time it's their force to move and study hard.
America exhibits extreme racism against white people, reminiscent of the treatment of a particular group in Germany in 1935, labeled as privileged. If this continues, the consequences could be severe.
Shit I'm white, I grew up in a trailer, lived in a car, didn't have water or electricity. Ate out of a dumpster, stood in food lines. Had to quit school in jr high to get a job. I'd love to see this white privilege she speaks of.
IKR, I had a house but couldn't afford my utilities. Lived without a fridge kept our food in a cooler. Had to boil water so my kids could take a bath. I couldn't afford college but did the best I could. My parents were Okies and they grew up during the Depression. No privilege in my family.
@@rjay7019 I know exactly what you mean by having to boil water and the cooler. It wasn't all the time but their was phases for sure. I've been to salvation army and food lines and toys for tots.I see who actually gets all the help, and it certainly doesn't come with any white privilege.
I'm white, and I've been working since I was 12, I've busted my ass for everything I have. I've had to live in a car in the dead of winter, I've spent time in jail, but I pulled myself up out of it, no one handed me anything.
Uhh… you’re an outlier then, and all the homeless white people in my city are outliers, haven’t seen a single homeless Indian or black but that doesn’t matter if anything bad happens to white people it’s an outlier. What? Me? Racist? No way.
Same, worked my ass my my entire adult life & lost everything after several events that were out of my control. I could sure use that white privilege right about now..
I keep wanting to ask the black folks in the audience who actually get why this way of thinking is flat wrong 'How do we change this? WE obviously can't because we're white and in the minds of all these indoctrinated black kids, that makes us incapable of changing it, other than to just let them do whatever they want.' I kind of want an answer from the black folk in general, definitively: 'What will PROVE to you that this is no longer the case. What ultimate goal is it that will finally get this 200+ year issue off our collective backs and just let us exist as PEOPLE, rather than black people and white people?' And I know the answer is that they'll just hem and haw and talk about their feelings and how they FEEL like they have to struggle, and etc, etc... Like twice during this the girls made the issue about privelege being something about 'On AVERAGE, this works X way...' But then used INIDIVIDUAL situations or examples to 'prove' that average. Which.. doesn't make ANY sense, because she griped that the INDIVIDUAL examples of white folks who PROVABLY had no privelege didn't count because it was about averages. There's a much simpler answer to ALL of this they touched on. That answer is: 'If I only have one parent, and you have two.' The actual issue that needs resolving is: If black folk, specifically inner city black folk, didn't spend from roughly 1995-2010 or longer embracing cultural norms that said things like 'Fuck the police', or that popularized the notion of 'being a gangsta'... Then there's a pretty good chance the percentages of all these things they feel SO strongly about would be skewed a much different way. And I don't feel sorry to them as a white person of little privelege myself, that their parents or grandparents or whoever, embraced a culture that taught them ignoring their families and children was a good thing. That's a question of personal responsibility, and if being a thug is more important than having self respect and being a good human being for your own... That's on you individually, nobody else.
I agree-not all black people think like that any more than all white people are racist. I know some white people are, but not all. Some people are jerks to everyone regardless of skin color.
I'm Latina and I cannot imagine being in the room and hearing the rich Puerto Rican tell a poor white lady she's more privileged than her just because she's' white. I'd lose my mind. 🤣

NO kidding, im tired of hearing about this "white privilege" If black dads stayed in the house, and black moms didnt marry the govenment and their welfare check, then blacks would do better. they act like they are still slaves and have such a victim mentality. It makes me sick, not all blacks are victims, but you do see it a lot, especially with the black people who are well off and still call themselves oppressed, they are their own worst oppressors when they play the victim card.
But there is black privilege. Black female privilege especially. Why are the highest represented percapita in the college system but are statistically poorer? It's almost like people have free will.
Love that the teacher called out the white girl on "The Script". I am white and still waiting for my "White Privilege Card" in the mail. We REALLY need more critical thinkers in the world.

I'm white. When I was a kid, my family had homemade tacos for Thanksgiving. That same year, for Christmas I got Michael Jackson's Thriller tape and a pair of blue jeans. I thought we must have hit the lottery. Poor is poor. I don't remember my family's skin color ever helping us out. My Dad lost out on getting a better position at the plastics plant to a black man at that time. Where was our 'white privilege' then? I wore the same jacket and boots through four years of High School. The bullying I had to endure for being 'trash' from the black kids in their Nikes, Reeboks, 50$ parachute pants and 100$ vinyl jackets was unimaginable. Where was my 'white privilege' then? I lost my position to a black woman while I was on maternity leave. When I returned, they had given her my desk, my office and my job. I had to go back to an entry level position that I had worked my way up from. Then they had the nerve to ask me to help her because she was only doing 1/3 to 1/2 the amount of work I had been doing. That is when I quit.
I lost a child because my placenta detached a black dr told me I was white and should be working, so I had to work to keep my medical because she wouldn’t sign for me to go on bed rest. Thanks to my white privilege I buried my 6 pound beautiful baby boy in my 20 th birthday.
These girls basically said “The core of our argument and the value of your struggle is based on how WE judge your appearance” Edit: I know what it is, I'm just putting it into words.
Right. So because of the color of our skin (which is an extremely racist way of looking at things) we are judged? Oh wait - you can't be racist against white people right? .....
It does kind of hurt to be a generationally poor white person hearing a millionaire talk about how I’m privileged because I’m white. If I’m so privileged, why does my existence hurt so much? Why is my cousin dead from ODing? Why was my backpack stolen out of my mom’s car when I was in 5th grade? Or my husband who worked hard to buy his flight school gear for school, that got stolen so he had to drop out of flight school. I grew up with my dad living on the streets doing drugs. I had to drive around looking for my dad anytime I wanted to talk to him. Hungry, bugs in the home, and scared about when we would have money for food. It is kind of gut wrenching hearing this discourse.

There is no being born naive or innocent for a white person. And so, to correct past slavery and racism by some, all whites must claim and exclaim their white privilige while people of color must be racist against whites to be anti-racist. And everyone one must disregard plain, easily known, established facts before their eyes and heard by their ears. I am reminded of the Simon and Garfunkel song: “The Sound of Silence.”

@leedabrowski835 This conversation was possibly intriguing in the 4th grade. Right now if black kid and a white kid of the same socioeconomic status applied to Harvard the black kid would get the acceptance in a heartbeat, would that be privilege?

if white privilage is the freedom to access agency then isnt america currently black privilege? i'm in the uk but i have american friends who say a lot of grants and scholarships are "only ethnic" while there is none that are "only white" so isnt her argument self defeating?
Yep, this is sort of the issue. The foundation of modern claims about racism in America, and the core claim supporting "white privilege" is the idea that white people aren't subject to racial discrimination in opportunity and society. The claim is that white people have greater freedom of autonomy and opportunity and that they are subject to less racial criminal violence. The problem is that most criminal violence against black people in America is internal; gang violence and black-on-black crime. DEI has ensured that white people are the penalized subject of social and professional racial discrimination, and not only do they have less "options" for support in education and work, but they are also held to a higher standard of performance and consequence. White people now have to score and perform much higher than black people to achieve the same outcome, and are entirely responsible for themselves if they fail to meet that standard. DEI allows black people to succeed at a much lower level of performance, and bails them out of failure.
I'm a veteran and grew up in a single mother home on food stamps wearing Spalding and riding a huffy.. I didn't see where I had any privilege other than being alive. Hard work and 30 years later I've realized privilege is a luck game and those claiming white privilege are the privileged racists.
I was very privileged to grow up in a trailer park in the woods of West Virginia. I remember my mom stretching a pack of hot dogs for a week because we couldnt afford meat. A hot dog in a box of mac n cheese on Monday. A hot dog in a can of beans on Tuesday...My mom worked hard af doing everything from exterminator to working an insane asylum. No welfare. No help. Where was my white privilege as I froze under 10 layers of blankets in the winter because we couldn't afford central heat/air? I guarantee this black girl never struggled with any of the mess I, a white girl, had to live through. But yes, being white somehow magically makes me privileged. 🙄
Fr I was fucking homeless. When I grew up my dad wouldn’t eat lunch or breakfast most days so his kids didn’t have to be shamed for getting reduced cost or free lunch’s at school. And for dinner for literally the first year after my mom and dad divorced we ate baked potatoes for dinner at least 4-5 nights a week cuz when we were little all we wanted on a baked potato was cheese and butter and a 5lb bag of potatoes cost us $2 back then. This whole “white privilege” shit just pisses me tf off. Take any black kid and stick em in my shoes and they wouldn’t have survived their two suicide attempts like I have they’d have made sure they followed thru having to go thru what my family has. We aren’t broke anymore but that took 20 years of all of us busting our asses and our college funds being emptied to pay for our rent

I'm a white male army vet (8 years in the Army, never saw combat). Been married since 2012. We are struggling, living in SC in a rented trailer that's falling apart. We want and are trying to pursue a better life, but despite paying off or otherwise reducing or eliminating many of our bills (car loans, storage, etc.), we are still living on a razors edge paycheck to paycheck. It seems every time we reduce or eliminate a big bill, the cost of groceries and gas goes up, or our internet bill jumps 20 bucks, or electricity bill spikes. We don't eat out, we don't spend on fancy new things. We are financially oppressed, and it is obviously not a race thing. Once upon a time, racial inequality did exist, there's no denying that. But nowadays, the concepts of racial inequality and white privilege are smoke and mirror tools used by the media and politicians to distract from the actual problem of financial class inequality. I'm not calling for communism, that would end terribly. I just think there should be a legitimate path for the down on his luck but still motivated American family man to follow to get to financial stability.
Been there brother go to a food bank the fact you are not on drugs and are willing to cook means you will save a lot of money and get good food, a lot of people don't have a way to cook but the majority who go to those places refuse to cook that is how defunct the people are, so trust me it will be a big help. I can't imagine acoffing at certain foods or cooking but a lot of those people are just like the freak in the video.
But Racial inequality does exist, if you're a minority race you get special privileges all because you clearly can't get into that college on your own merit because you're not smart enough. So we need to give handouts. How many people are going to miss the fact that I'm being facetious, those ones are probably the woke community.

Further, what about "Pretty Privilege" and Affirmative action, can anyone tell me where that is beneficial to, or ONLY to, white people, or white male's, because I don't see it. Historically, sure, there may have been privilege, but are we talking now or historically, because it does NOT exist today. Maybe the bigger thing we should be teaching is "this is ignorance, and this is how we fix ignorance". As a black woman I want to say not all of us think this way. Everyone struggles
I keep wanting to ask the black folks in the audience who actually get why this way of thinking is flat wrong 'How do we change this? WE obviously can't because we're white and in the minds of all these indoctrinated black kids, that makes us incapable of changing it, other than to just let them do whatever they want.'
I kind of want an answer from the black folk in general, definitively: 'What will PROVE to you that this is no longer the case. What ultimate goal is it that will finally get this 200+ year issue off our collective backs and just let us exist as PEOPLE, rather than black people and white people?'
And I know the answer is that they'll just hem and haw and talk about their feelings and how they FEEL like they have to struggle, and etc, etc...
Thank you. I knew it but after all this going on, it is great to hear you say it.

I thought we must have hit the lottery. Poor is poor. I don't remember my family's skin color ever helping us out. My Dad lost out on getting a better position at the plastics plant to a black man at that time. Where was our 'white privilege' then? Or my husband who worked hard to buy his flight school gear for school, that got stolen so he had to drop out of flight school. I grew up with my dad living on the streets doing drugs. I had to drive around looking for my dad anytime I wanted to talk to him. Hungry, bugs in the home, and scared about when we would have money for food. It is kind of gut wrenching hearing this discourse.

Ibram X. Kendi says you have to (meaning “must”) be RACIST to be “anti-racist.” That white privilege and racism is intrinsically (a basic part) of being “white”; a white person cannot escape it.

Let’s see. I’m white with very little Native American ancestry therefore I mark white in the box. My children did not qualify for student loans to go to college but their black classmates did.

How fucking dare that girl say that her grandparents "got lucky" when im sure that came with its own whole set of hardships and challenges they had to rise above.
To reduce your grandparents to "they got lucky" is such a slander to her grandparents efforts and hard work.
In a way she's right though. Because luck is when preparation and opportunity meet.
Maybe they won the lottery.
@@jessieinthewest sure, it could be an absolute statistical anomaly like that, but it's far more likely to get struck by lightning. Twice
I had applied to a medical program after graduation. A minority student got my spot in the program even though they had lower test scores. When I inquired about this decision I received a letter that stated blatantly and specifically that they needed to offer this to the minority applicant regardless of test scores.... a MEDICAL SCHOOL program.
Thank you for your service. I hope we can improve the country’s economy so everyone can have better opportunities.
But Racial inequality does exist, if you're a minority race you get special privileges all because you clearly can't get into that college on your own merit because you're not smart enough. So we need to give handouts.
How many people are going to miss the fact that I'm being facetious, those ones are probably the woke community.
Keep your head up, use the GI bill to get education, 1 class at a time if necessary. But you can drag your entire family up one class at a time. Its the hard but surest way to improve your life.
My son is in the 82nd and we are very proud of him.
Been there, stop paying for storage. Sell what's in storage if you cannot it it in your home. Look at what you're paying annually, those fees are just ridiculous. It will be freeing to purge the things you do not need.
I own a convenience store…who would I wait on first, the black customer or the white customer? That’s a dumb question…first come, first serve, regardless of skin colour.
The ones with money in their hands, not a weapon, regardless of color
The first one to come to the register ready to check out.
These black kids never had to struggle, never had it bad.. this isn't the 50s anymore. And yes a poor black person has the same opportunity to attend Penn State! It's called apply yourself in school and put in the work!
I've NEVER Had Whit Privilege!!! I Struggle EVERYDAY!!!
I swear I'm starting to think College isn't worth it for anyone anymore.
Its not. I was lucky thanks to divine timing to happen to quit college back in beginning of 2020 right before i found out about covid. Haven't gone back. I would like to get some degrees and certifications one day but not now with all this happening. Maybe if they clean up the school system and i dont have to pay 30k+ for education. I love learning.
It's not. I was lucky enough to graduate before woke culture got turned up to 11. The biggest cause students fought for was recycling.
It's not
College is worth it if you ignore this bs , go to college and get a degree that’s worth a damn
White Privilege ... also known as "The Grass is Greener on the Other Side"
That's a very good way of looking at it. You are absolutely correct!
My privilege as a white male is that I get to experience the legal and institutionalized discrimination against the white male. Additionally, any time you fight for the benefit of one demographic and NOT EVERYONE, that's discriminatory in itself, and in many cases racists. Equality is for EVERYONE, regardless of age, sex, skin color, religion. If you don't support the latter, YOU are part of the problem..
Very well said!

I've watched 2 seconds of this and these victims are so clueless. It's actually really dangerous. Go travel sweethearts 🙄
How about they have a discussion about “ black privilege” !?
Cause they will call that racist
@@JuanMARTINEZ-v1z Well that’s ok to me! It’s a real thing that’s not talked about and should be in my opinion! I’m sick of the division but if people want to keep going on “ white privilege” then we need to have the conversation about both!
There definitely is 'black privilege' and 'asian privilege'.
