I made a few of these last year for my daughter’s friends. Really easy to follow and quick to make. I’ve had more requests this year ❤️ thank you for this tutorial 😊
I really love this idea, and i love that you included the different stitches you need to know for it! I've never seen a tutorial like that, and its very useful since you can get an overview of how simple or difficult its going to be!
Very easy and clear video! I have galaxy buds with a small rubber case, so my first attempt was just a bit too small to fit them in comfortably. I added a sc row around the edge of each square and it fits perfectly!
I did it! I can't make it well yet, but I was able to make it to the end, and I'm so happy that it was so cute! I really wanted to make it so I'm glad! I like it very much. Thank you for the wonderful tutorial. I want to be as good as you!
lol i never ever did did croche before and i actally need to make the first square again, because of how ugly it looked, in total i needed about 6h for that and i came out great, thank you
Thank you, I really appreciate this tutorial and the way you explain is very easy to digest. This my first crochet project by the way and I'm obsessed!
Thank you so much for sharing this pattern with us. I just completed my AirPod case using Hobby Lobby, I Love This Cotton in cinnamon cedar and it’s perfect for fall. Yummy!!!
Thank you for this great tutorial. I love the granny square Cottagecore vibe. I sold the first one I made! 😊 Now off to make some more. I am using the HL Crafter's Secret yarn. My next one will be in their Denim color. Thanks again!
Hey! Go down to a 3.5MM hook & it’ll make it small enough for gen 2! I also have gen 2 & made my squares w/ the 4mm hook & they were a little too big! I hope this helps you 🧡
This was a very amazing tutorial as I’m a beginner and just now learning to do it on my own. The only part I disliked was the BLO crocheting together at the end as it was kind of difficult to do for me. Overall you gained a new sub and I’ll be looking at more of your videos❤
I love to hear from new crocheters! I recommend that you keep your first projects so you can compare them to your projects in the future! It's so fun to see your progress : )
Start to join the first granny square (which one has not that big loop at the top) with the second one. At the fist one start to make this flat slip stitch join at the slip stitch just before the chain 1 space( we joined the last round together with it), (remember, the wrong sides facing) and at the second granny square strat making the join at the chain 1 space. You can notice this: at the 1st granny square we always 1 stitch ahead then the 2nd granny square. For example if we are at the 3rd stitch in the first granny square( the 3rd stitch at any cluster) then at the 2nd one we are just making the 1st one at the next cluster. I made this. I hope it is right, if is is not somebody please tell me what is the wrong, and I hope I told you the right instuctions, and if something is wrong I am really sorry. My case turned out really pretty, I hope yours will too, good luck for crochet!😊
@OhMeOhMyCrochet Inch is true? My size here 11:12 is approximately 2 x 2. Should I not cut the yarn and continue until it reaches a size of 3 x 3 or will it later reach 3 x 3?
I'm guessing your tension is too loose. Are you doing a chain between the 3 dcs? The only time I chain between the 3 dcs is in the corners. Or...It could be that a smaller hook is what you need. I really don't know without seeing your work
Helloo, i was thinking of selling some of these airpods cases. Is it alright if i sell them even though they are your pattern? i can definitely credit you for the pattern
Without seeing your work, I'm guessing your tension might be too tight. If it's curling up after the 3rd round then that's probably it. The remedy for that is to loosen up your stitches or just go up a half of a hook size. Also, you can dampen your work and stretch it out a bit to lay flat (that's referred to as blocking)
@@sydneyeggleston8078 Mine is not laying flat either but my stitches are not too tight. I think it's something to do with the slip stitch edging. For my next one i'm going to try just stitching like sewing them together. That might help.
I think you didn't do the spaces correctly or you forgot some stitches in the corner it's supposed to be 3dc then chain 1 then 3dc in the same stitch not the one after 😊
I have never made a granny square successfully. I followed your instructions and it came out perfect!
Yay! I'm so happy to hear that!

Awesome tutorial. How can I make similar case for AirPods Pro Gen 2? Thanks
Depending on the yarn you use, this should fit your Gen 2 AirPods. If it’s too small, try going up a hook size! Have you tried making it yet? 😁

Can you used red heart yarn for this project? And what hook would be good for it? I love your work❤❤❤❤
Yes, you can! Same hook size - 4mm - should work!
@@OhMeOhMyCrochet oh ok thanks you so much 💕 I love your work is amazing job

It was perfect ❤ ty for the tut
Thanks a lot!!!
Is there an alternative way where you can start with a slip knot
Yes, you can start by chaining 4 and slip stitching into the first ch to make a ring.
Had a question how big is the case exactly?
i have the smaller airpods case what hook size do i need i have the older version not the airpods pro
4mm should still be good! If you think your case is too big, go down to 3.5mm
If you’re a beginner, this will be a challenge or a sort of a test to your skill levels 😭
Ikr, I can barely make a chain lmao-
Haha😭😭I'd suggest you guys to atleaat learn the basic stitches. This would be very easy then.❤
And I am struggling while working on the loop
And I am struggling while working on the loop😭😭
Yessss😭
Will it work with a thicker yarn ??
It will be bigger, but give it a try!
Okayy thanks a ton !
Very cute
i only have acrylic yarn can i use that
Absolutely 😁
Best video!
Glad you think so! :)
At the start of round 2, after the ch3, 2dc: do we do 1ch before continuing?
No, just go straight into the next 3dc. You’ll only ch 1 in the corners. Hope this helps!
Adorable
I cannot seem to find the start on both the squares to join them… can someone help out ?

When u make the 1st dc,add a Bobby pin ot safety pin so u know where to slp St
How long and wide is it?
3”x3”
@OhMeOhMyCrochet Inch is true? My size here 11:12 is approximately 2 x 2. Should I not cut the yarn and continue until it reaches a size of 3 x 3 or will it later reach 3 x 3?
@wald.1188 it won’t get a whole inch bigger after this point. I would either go up a hook size or you can add another round of the granny stitch.
How do you minimize the holes within the granny squares? Is it looser tensions, smaller hook?? My squares come out with really gaping holes throughout
I'm guessing your tension is too loose. Are you doing a chain between the 3 dcs? The only time I chain between the 3 dcs is in the corners. Or...It could be that a smaller hook is what you need. I really don't know without seeing your work
How much yarn did you use?
It’s about 22 yards
@@OhMeOhMyCrochet thanks

Why is mine not turning out flat? 😢
