what is the rational of using bob weights on an in plane crank of any number of cylinders, if the weights of the reciprocating/piston weights are identical
Is your machines belt position considered a variable in measurement? It seems close to one side of the crank. (front side.) Would a belt positioned in the center of crank be more accurate? Or do the machine crank supports eliminate that variable?

What is the name of that machine the actual tool like in general and that specific model. Is it just called "balancer"?

It does not matter where the belt is positioned.
Quality build for sure.
I also need to balance my V6 as well
so how do you calculate how far in the drill goes and how do you calculate how much weight in meterial it will remove?
From experience and checking after drilling then drill and check and so on.
Is there a standard formula for calculation the bob-weights ?
100% rotating weight/mass (big rod end with bearing) +50% reciprocating weight/mass (piston with wrist pin, wrist pin locks, and small rod end)
@@eaglebolek712 Only when it's a 90 degree block. When it's a 60 deg block it's about 44% reciprocating. It's half of the sine of the bank angle.
The bobweights need to be concentric otherwise inaccurate. The extra weights hanging off the ends are added as vectors otherwise but still inaccurate.
what does that BIG red button do on the computor thing? i would love to press that
Thats the faster button
Check the Engine Parts Balancing video, it explains bob weight calculation.
Please provide the link of the video which describes how to calculate the bob weights.
Usually emergency stop
Ah, I see it is a V engine, then use bob weights, but you set TDC on No1 throw by EYE ?? then go and set your bob weight with a level F.... Me
very good but bored
Kill the background noise or put a mike on....can't hear what your saying at times....besides the background noise is annoying.
