My son and I are just getting into racing hotwheels. The power propulsion method chosen makes a big difference as to which car performs the best. The "Gravity Nationals" would favor heavier cars with their weight situated toward the back like as in pinewood derby competitions like in this video. The "Spring Nationals" - (using spring launchers) tends to favor the lighter cars, and the "Nitro Nationals" (using the engines) favors the medium weight ones, of course when you find that special one that just has perfect wheel alignment, it can make up for a lot. The special one we have that just dusts the rest it the "Country Club Muscle" car. Of course that's just the drag races, there's also the circuit racing, and the 24 hours at LeLiving Room. . .

You're right it is a very fast car. We changed the angle slightly on the track this time to increase the speed however the transition at the bottom of the six lane was a little more extreme and the cars with a low front and seem to scrape hence all the crashes. I will go back to the normal set up next time.
Cool ...I thought the lane 6 was experiencing some technical issues. I was looking for a dodgy bit of track lol. I thought after the war you might get some problems. Hehe.

I'm just doing some light customising, having purchased 10 cars from the £1 shop. But half of them have eccentric wheels!
