Hi Zwag! Build suggestion for a video: ADC disguised Veigar. Basically you put the ap you farm into a nashor and right click your opponents to death. Build should be lethal tempo for more atk speed, riftmaker for sustain (you gotta keep autoing man), Nashor tooth (core), rageblade for more nashor procs, rabbadon aaaand whatever you want for boots and last item :^)

7:09 when you complete the first 40 stacks, you gain 2 charges of your q instantly. So if timed correctly you can do a combo with 8 balls
it's not possible since ult says "up to 4 more" so 7 should be the maximum ? (unless some uncalculated bugs that riot is good at ? )

The reason death cap seemed less effective then normal was because you already had +15% AP from your passive. The 35% AP bonus from death cap only affects your base AP before the modifiers.
That doesn't necessarily mean dcap is less effective, it just means it gives the same value as before since there is no reduction or increase to her base ap. However, getting dcap does mean her ap is being increased by 50% instead of just 35 because of the new addition to her passive.

so syndra deathcap is only + 30% ap instead of + 35%. Th'ats kinda meh, maybe skip that item or build it last then.

I really like Syndra, glad there's a rework, maybe do some more content on her. I think the E slow makes up for the shortened ult range. When you killed vex late with q w then e it was super easy to walk up and land while she was slowed. W lands are more important
I need answer. CC from evelynn is shortened when eve dies? I mean at 11:10 You got charmed, but You killed her while charmed and it immediately went off. It is normal or its bug?

Does look like the new passive +15% has some issue with the deathcap +35%.
Your AP went from 417 to 545 when you bought it, looks like you got the 15% but not the 35% at all.
Yeah it’s really weird, ohh well they’ll probably fix it
Ye he lost initialy around 190 AP after buying it, but we know riot, maybe that's a feature : D

24:15 it didn't go that high probably because they made it so deathcap doesn't take into account syndra's extra AP from the passive. He should have quite a bit more AP than that.

As a Syndra Main first I was worried bout the rework, but seeing this, I love it :D Hope she does not get nerfed now a 100 times :(
i don't think it's broken, definitely meta and S tier, but there are more op champs currently in game.

@@Z1E8 Honestly, I guess for the most part that can depend on who you ask. Personally, I find trundle and Sett to be some of the more OP top laners atm. Had a Sett recently that kept ulting himself into my tower, tank 10 turret shots, still kill me, and somehow make it out of turret range without dying.... Such a joke of a champ... Also, I personally hate Trundle with his bs amount of healing that seems to out-heal any anti-heal I put against him... Plus I just hate when a champ has an ability that just lets them pull a bunch of stats out of their ass... it's such a lazy and OP way to make an ability.
@@Stone7C1 Honestly, maybe it's because I play Thresh, but I find Thresh to be very balanced as a champ. he's a scaling champ that is pretty weak early, and does not gain his stacks nearly as fast as other infinitely scaling champs such as Veigar or Nasus. And personally, I have not really found Pyke or Akali to be too bad, but I do agree on Irelia though.
But as far as Sett goes, I just don't think a champ should be able to get away with something as stupid as ulting himself into my tower during lane phase, and tank an abysmal amount of tower shots, yet still win the fight and make it out of the tower alive just because he's Sett.
@@Stone7C1 how do you lose 1v1 as morde against akali tho? you have a anti burst shield + 2 spamable aoe spells + you can easily build mr and your R is a win fight button bc you steal her ap and base mr and just run her down. You just have no hands bro and your mains show that.

btw at 20:40 (more or less) you got 45 free ap from the passive at 120 stacks, not bad at 20 mins and lvl 14 on 2 items. She definitely is stronger.

I actually rly like this rework. As a mage main some mages feel rly weak if you’re not ahead, but at least with Syndra you kinda get guaranteed effectiveness even if you’re behind.

Ironically, Syndra has more mana issues late game than early because she doesn't recover mana once she's at 120 stacks.
I mean u could look at it that way but she had no mana gain like that b4 (I think... correct me if I am wrong) plus they buffed her mana on Q so she has less mana issues overall rlly

It's funny to think that every time I see Syndra, the first thing that comes to mind is always the Eggman Boss from the Metropolis Zone in Sonic The Hedgehog 2. My brain amazes me sometimes, don't judge.

Around 17:30 there's an adc who gets surprised by getting almost oneshot by a fed syndra's R.
Honestly I feel like that's already happened to me back when syndra was meta. Doesn't really feel weird or new, to be honest.
Syndra went from being kind of a lane bully that was supposed to have a scaling power fantasy but didn't really have one except for "you get better oneshots when you lvl up", to being one of the coolest scaling control mages. Yay for an actual identity, that fits her!

I like the scaling passive, the Q changes I like. Longer cooldown in exchange for double stacks is a good change, just like with Amumu Q. I like the E change, making it wider as the game goes on makes her late team fight better. I think the 15% execute is too much on her R, tone it down to 5% and it's healthier imo. W true damage isn't necessary but I don't think it's too overtuned considering you'll be building tons of penetration anyway. Overall a good rework, but could be toned back a little in numbers.
The Q charges make for a really strong combo without ult. One of Syndra's problems has always been ult reliance.

@@anotoman123 yeah exactly. The double charge lets her burst potential be higher without letting her spam her abilities. It's a healthy way to limit spam while letting her be more viable in combat.

Passive changes look nice, ult execute is cool but man just watching this I could feel those damage nerfs on her Q>E combo. She looks stronger for the all in but her bread and butter feels weaker until you get Q upgrade to Q twice in row to offset the Q nerf. Overall looks actually pretty balanced

Looking at the changes… I don’t know why she got a rework. I thought she was fine tbh. I liked her because I liked how oppressive she was. Now she’s just… a more combo based viktor apparently.

Zwag talking about throwing his balls at people is one of the funniest shit ive seen in a while
15% ap mid-late game, 2 charges of orb, slightly more true damage end game on w, slow on e and 15% execute on r. Not huge changes but enough to make her way more bursty and something tanks have to look out for.
a tank should not have to live in fear of getting nearly oneshot by a mage at near equal gold
@@metagollum676 why not exactly? The idea tanks should have no counters and be able to shrug off pure damage build glass cannons and 1v5 is not a good concept.
Ok I'm gonna call this out rn, when Zwag killed Vex at around 7:00, he got the Q passive upgrade in the middle of the trade, and got 2 charges of Q instantly, while the Q was on cooldown, basically getting 3 Q's instantly. I don't think that's very healthy, but we take those? It's still in PBE, I hope it gets fixed before hitting live.

Hmmm her scaling damage overall got nerfed but all her abilities have so much stronger effects now. I absolutely love that the Q charge finally makes full 7 orb ults possible outside of urf

In fact, her Sindra in the team will somehow not change Initiation by stunning the entire opponent's team. And the destruction of a separate target. But playing on the line with it will become simply disgusting, and the ballistics of the balls have also been changed. Previously, they could be pushed away slightly at an angle, now they fly only in a straight line. Obviously, this character can do almost nothing in the early game.
In the video, we saw the best development of events and 40 stacks were only in 8 minutes (level 7). A really big gain is the increase in the range of the third. But the change in ballistics negates this advantage. It will actually become more difficult to stun. Perhaps, to remove this problem, they will buy exclusively through Rocket Bel.

Honestly I like the new things they adding for Syndra, but she honestly is already this strong normally, the ult having a execute at 15% is bit much but you can usually burst a squishy with a simple Q + E, alongs you doing fairly well.

Try a 6 Active Items build on a tank like Rammus, Singed, Volibear, Maokai, or Sion.
Predator Boots, Turbo Chemtank, Gargoyle Stoneplate, Randuin's Omen, Zhonya's Hourglass, and Redemption.
Bring Ingenious Hunter too for CD on the item actives.

I think she would be good with a max haste build. Probably still run ludens, but get like cosmic drive and other good AH items.
why tho? her 60 sek cooldown ult really doesnt benefit much from ah. same for the other spells. And you kinda need penetration on a burst mage

You need to do a daily with this and an axiom arc for the ult reset

its percentages so 35 plus 15 percent probably evens out to her getting a bonus 41 to 43% bonus ap
