Zodwa has been caring for her ever since she came to live them, Sbongile has always been ungrateful even though Zodwa tried to love her and she loves her... And don't forget that Zodwa treats Sbosh as her own child as much as she is harsh to her but she is also harsh to Teddy whenever he does something wrong
This is not tough love. This was very, very vile especially since Sbongile already feels out of place. Should have just slapped her because these words sting way more than a slap ever will.
A parent who is not your biological one will always remind you of your place.
But orphans can be very difficult to deal with if they don't tell themselves that
1. I don't have parents
2. People whom I call parents they feed, clothe and gave shelter
3. My main focus is to study and be a better person

In my opinion, There's nothing wrong with a parent disciplining a child however my problem would be a manner a child is discipled. The insults I'm hearing hear are too hurtful and may destroy a person forever, parents please find better ways to disciple kids, not fight.
This is a child who is sleeping with old men to get material rewards. There comes a time when a parent can no longer be nice, but go toe to toe with a child who appears to think they can do whatever they want, and continue to carry on with disrespectful behavior. Sibongile's actions are indicative of one crossing the line between a parent using "logical" discipline and one who shows her true colors, to get her point across to all who hear her. Zodwa is reprimanding this daughter of hers out of pure love, even though it may seem hurtful and tough. If it wasn't love, Zodwa could have forced Sibongile to leave permanently.
@@MsPrincessaj I hear you and understand exactly what you say, my point is yes parents can discipline the child However they also have to be careful with words used to discipline, they might bring back the child back to their senses or they might cause more damage to the situation.
