Never treat someone mean who comes to your party dressed as the devil
😈😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂
Dmanpoke 88 LMAO true
Dmanpoke 88, right as rain. Think of how the Devil briefly had Bill and Ted's souls in their Bogus Journey.
John Shutterbug I love Bill and Ted's Bogus Journey too! STATION!
You right, you right
Lol!!! 😂
I had the biggest smile on my face while watching this! I miss the 90s and getting to watch movies like this without a care in the world.
It's not just we were kids, times were better :')
Yeah and movies were shit
Yeah but the years are changing and things will be different
This girl got everything that was coming to her and got what she deserved, I'm actually glad Junior wrecked her party, because if you act like an asshole, you'll be treated like an asshole. That was a good revenge.
@ptnismuls9393 I agree, I'm glad Junior ruined her birthday party since the moment she met Junior, she said that she doesn't want him coming over to her birthday party where she was forced to invite him because the mom was going to cancel out the clown, the balloons, and ice cream if she didn't invite him. Then she doesn't allow Junior to go near her birthday presents and didn't allow him to go watch the magic show. I'm glad Junior came back for revenge and I'm sure the two reasons why Junior has a bad behavior is for one thing, nobody in life accepted him for a son as seen in the beginning of the movie and he mostly has a bad behavior to others if they're bad to him.
Agreed!
I totally agree and that stupid brat deserves whats coming to her and her stupid party
I totally agree and that stupid brat deserves whats coming to her and her stupid party
Yeah i totally agree That stupid Brat Deserves what's coming to her and her stupid birthday party
My parents made my sister and I watch this movie fairly regularly when we were little. Looking back, it all makes sense. Even though they adopted us, they still love us.
I don’t care what anyone says, I love this stupid movie. 🤷♂️
Me too
Same here which i wouldn't consider stupid
This is a classic
The days when movies were done right. I wish they made movies like this again.
I can totally relate to this kid. I'm a foster child AND people automatically assume that you are a problem child. Yes I was a problem child but that was cuz people didn't help me.
So people were right then?
@@QuasiELVIS maybe so, but not rightfully.
@@QuasiELVIS self fulfilling prophecy
Sounds more like a "you" problem, buddy.
Did you ever do this to a party?
Never understood why being adopted was 'gross'.
Simply typcial of six year olds to talk and act like that-like big BRATS.
Orphan kids don’t deserve to be treated this way at all they want to be treated equally and they’re still waiting to be chosen for a new family and by the time they go to school they had to make new friends which isn’t easy for them well depending on who they are but mostly they’ll meet other children to play with and they’re mostly from their birth parents they need love and friendship my fiancé was adopted from his grandparents since his biological mother left him and his dad. His dad is still around but has to work two jobs to support him which he had less time with him so he told his mother (also fiancé’s grandma) to take care of his son during work days he takes care of him when he’s off. At first his biological mother was fighting for custody but she lost cause she’s a fucking whore she’s been out and about finding men to pleasure her she left her infant son locked in his room crying for help he has to be changed he’s covered in his own business and his grandfather breaks the door to take care of him and his grandma cleaned him up that’s the reason why my fiancé grew up hating her and not wanting her to meet me especially not inviting her to our wedding she mistreated him and left him. Anyways I deeply admire orphans I made a vow if I can’t have kids I’ll adopt them
@@chibifangirlXD I know the feeling, my biological mother was no good to me. I was taken in by a foster mother
Same
AshBloodfire ikr
3:10 When junior makes that smile, something is about to go down.
Larinzo Allan hahahahaha yes!!!
I don't blame Junior for acting up. I would've done the same thing if all of the kids excluded me so callously like that.
This is Ryan me two
Finally I found this movie I have been trying to find
Problem Child is Free on Rubi Streaming
Yeah thanks for saying finally
Fr
Yoo samee
I honestly have been looking for this movie too, I was thinking maybe it was denace the menace lol
Junior is the best. I love how he dishes it all back to the bullies in spades. Classic movie, one of my favorites.
Mess with the bull you get the horns
"U can't come to my magic show"
Junior: "I have some magic of my own" 😂😂😂
The saying don't give out what you can't take back comes to mind
You don’t even feel sorry for her cause she was mean to him
@@stevenfucetola2527 yup a spoiled little brat.
She was being a bitch to him for no reason from the beginning
good one
he never really was a problem child he just did wrong to the people that were mean to him you call that a problem child
More like a bullied child.
Fun Games but at the same time he see's serial killers as people who can't be bosses around or bullied. It's the wrong thought process, but it's what happens when adults don't care or don't pay attention at all. The children will make their own role models.
Kid was treated like crap by spoiled rich assholes and scumbags who don't deserve anything good happening to them. Poor kid. He loved his adopted dad, it's a really sad story at the heart of this, but Junior is hilarious.
Agreed!
Nope. Definitely not a problem child! I was like that at his age. lol.
If someone comes to your birthday party dressed as the devil maybe don’t antagonise him! 😂😂😂😂😂😂
To be fair and honest, Junior was trying to be friends with her, but the birthday girl was rude, irresponsible and cruel to him from the start. She deserved every single thing that has ever happened to him.
Yep she was mean to him before the party and it’s not like he did anything to her before it’s nice to see these kinds of people get what they deserve and being humbled, respect everyone
I remember watching and loving this as a kid
Junior doesn't like to be treated like this. Everyone calls him trouble, when it's really themselves who are trouble for being mean to him.
The firecrackers on the birthday cake was the best!
That and the tainted pinata
The presents floating in the pool was even better than the exploding cake!
That boy is going need a nice long shower with some Irish Spring lol
That and the pinata.
In real life they wouldn't make that big of an explosion, but it's a funny scene.
Junior’s issue is that he was smarter than everyone else. The other kids were mean, but Junior was clever and had better ideas on how to get back at them.
One of the funniest movies!!!! I'm glad John decided to take the role. He met his beautiful wife.
Very few people know that Quincy Jones sued "Problem Child" producer for about 2 million for using the song "It's my party" without permission.
really?
Junior doesn't like the people who mistreat him and bullies.
He is not *even* that badly behaved. The world has just painted him as a monster/outcast.
omg... I used to watch this movie all the time when I was younger. I can’t believe she treated him that way so I am kind of glad that he got his revenge.
A mean birthday boy/girl like that little brat would've gotten a serious talk with my parents if I was in Junior's position. My parents would have immediately talked with the brat's parents and then there'd be a lot more trouble.
And if I had any kids and they were nasty and snotty to a guest or guests,I would send them to their room and thus call the party off right then and there,if that's the way they were going to treat a guest.
MrJamieMurph4141969, good call! And Junior wouldn't be as busted as the berthday girl would B.
Regular Invader haha parents would beat the shit out of me
shes probs your age now and this is a film its not real
Problem is, some parents don't give a shit what their kids get up to. Had a problem about 6 years ago, some local boys kept coming into my back garden and squirting my sister and her friends with super soakers, had to dry the kids off about 6 times, told them repeatedly to stay out of the garden, got a mouthful of cheek from the kids. In the end I spoke to the kids mother, she said "They're only playing. Getting wet won't kill them." and I said "Stay out of my garden means stay out of my garden, if your kids got soaked, you'd be around here mouthing off.
5 minutes later, my sister was in the street and she ran into the yard, saying they were chasing her and her friends again. The girls ran into the back garden, the boys ran in behind ready to wet them again.
I step from behind the wall, I said "Alright lads?" and sprayed the lot of em with a hose pipe. Sure enough 5 minutes later, the mothers mothing off at me. I said "You said getting wet won't kill them." and her boyfriends at the door. I knew her boyfriend, we were college friends, and he at least asked what possessed me to spray them all. I showed him a basket full of wet clothes I needed to dry because of the kids. He said "Sorry Mike, didn't realise what they'd been up to." and grounded his kids for a few days.
One sensible parent, one dipshit parent.
Wow, I’ve been trying to remember the name of this movie for years. Junior wrecking this brat’s party is so satisfying. I think she got off lightly. She’s lucky the girl from the sequel wasn’t there to cause even more destruction.
Oh you mean trixie? Lol yeah
Now that you mentioned it, I'm starting to wonder how Trixie handled birthday parties in her hometown. Her mother Annie must have been worried sick.😮
This is sadism at its finest. Sure, the girl was rude to Michael Oliver's character. However, you don't throw somebody else's presents into the pool or snip somebody's hair.
I wonder what Trixie would have done in this situation. The house probably wouldn't be left standing after she finished with it.
I do recall Trixie driving a bulldozer when she crashed Lawanda's wedding, so who knows.😮😳
How to get revenge on someone who bullied you:
I don't call it bullying if you're fighting back. It's war.
I feel bad for Junior in this scene because he is trying to fit in with the other kids at the party.
If someone else's child was to treat my kid that way, i say lets get out of here and NEVER be invited to their parties ever again!!
Junior he's better than Dennis The Menace
Facts
Yup 100%
sheeeeesh
Yeah I know right? Dennis is the complete opposite of Junior. He's just clumsy. Funny when he tried to vacuum up the paint. However a chunk shot up and landed into Mr. Wilson's grill. Lol!!!
@@dianachin4849 junior knew how to cover his tracks dennis didn’t he wasn’t really a menace tho either
He really put fireworks in the cake 😂😂😂🤣🤣🤣
If there's one thing Junior's taught us, it's that there are people much worse than *him* (Lucy, Flo, Big Ben and Peabody being prime examples).
Imagine if Junior and The Bow Tie Killer had been at the birthday party together. All the havoc that they both would have caused together at Lucy’s birthday party. The Bow Tie Killer would have been a danger to the adult guests.
This is one of the best movies of the 90’s, so underrated. The humour, acting and storyline is so clever. It should be on Netflix 😢😢
Junior tried to be a good kid, but everyone pushed him over the edge except Ben
I love his little smile combined with the costume at 3:09. He looks like he's about to wreak some havoc. Lol
Ugh. This movie was amazing. My childhood. 🙌🏻😞❤️
Treating Junior like garbage was bad enough and got them what they deserved. But I think Junior would have done WORSE to them had they insulted Ben in some way.
I want you to meet the Hofstadters. Leonard's parents.
I was thinking the same thing.
But was Leonard at the party?
Nicksolo85 now I have questions?
Just like Harry Potter from movie Troll 2 :D Nice coincidence
I was thinking the same thing
And Leonard must be one of the kids, as he was juniors age when this came out... Lol
Junior had some magic of his own alright 😆 🤣 😂 crashed the party especially the piñata and the birthday 🎂 🤣 😂 😆
The song was way before my time but I absolutely love it.
This scene is soo iconic😂❤
his outfit alone 🤣 i'm 30 now and have loved this film and the ridiculous humor ever since i first saw it in my early childhood. it's about time i watched it again.
michael oliver was soo cute as a child in 90'
And he's handsome today.
Junior would've fit right into the Addams family.
Yeah. They tolerate and approve Mischief and Chaos.😏
Or the Brotherhood Of Mutants if he was a mutant.
It's tough being left out. You're absolutely right about that John Ritter I feel that every single day I just feel like there's something missing I feel like there's a hole in my heart and my heart's been broken so many times by loss mostly because of people I lost people that were very dear to me and the truth is I would rather have them here then let them go because letting go is extremely painful and God knows how special my bond was with the people I lost
I don't think that Junior was ever really a bad kid to begin with. Mischievous but not bad as you could tell by that bond he had with his adopted father. He just was the king of karma. 😁
Ben was the only dad in his life who actually gave a damn about junior,no matter how many times junior ruined things he just wanted to be loved as a father and son should.Just 2 peas in a pod.Bens wife only cared about herself because she used ben and junior for her own benefits. And bens dad used his son for his campaigns and he used his sons money for his campaign instead of his. This movie is great.
That selfish and evil girl, deserves this punishment.
It makes her learn about sharing her things with others.
@Wesley Paul Parks Parga I agree and hopefully it will teach her to never discriminate others just because they're adopted where we are all humans.
Now streaming on Tubi.
Bad kids are so sweet inside. They just get treated wrong. And they act out like him because. They be mad!! How people do them!
A classic...they don't make movies like this anymore.
R.I.P Presents :’)
I never had that many presents on any of my birthdays.
@@retroguy9233 same..
Looking back at this part made me realize how Ben never truly looked forward to attending birthday parties after adopting Junior. He only said that during the orphanage office appointment because he was under the impression of making Flo happy because that's what she wanted in terms of socializing with other parents.
this scene is iconic
I just have this memory of the entire movie
I love the frog in the drink😭😭 truly one of the greatest movies
Kermit in the Punch.🐸
Rip Gilbert Gottfried 😭
My favorite scene
Da_Project_ Prophet same here
I haven't seen this since I was a child, for probably at least about 30 years. But this scene has stayed in my head, so I decided to look it up. I was not disappointed. 😂
Junior had on the right outfit
5:12 that little girl does a really good job of throwing a fit. No sarcasm that part was 100 percent believable that she was having a tantrum.
Yes, the way she’s all like “Whatever did I do to deserve this, to have my BIRTHDAY PARTY, of all events, RUINED???!” Ha, Lucy, as if you don’t know, or can’t even figure it out! Here’s a hint: It has to do with what you last said to Junior.
5:12 I never understood, is she supposed to be standing right at this same location everytime she sees or hears of these various unfortunate events? She never moves, but the editing makes it looks like she is reacting to each different one.
Michael Oliver is now the same age John Ritter was when this was released in 1990.
he is not even a real kid, he is adopted. no need to be so mean at junior!!
That bitch in pink need to be falcon-punched in the face
That spoiled brat got exactly what she deserved. Junior just wanted to see the magic show and she outcasted him just because he’s adopted. My bf was adopted and he told me the pain of being outcasted by it. The song is also perfect for this scene.
I haven’t seen this movie in years!
never mess with the demon of junior ;)
Yeah especially when he dressed up as one
I loved this movie and it's sequel so much that I became a pyro when I was a kid. I lit my dad's recliner on fire inside our house. My mom had to tell for my dad to get the hose so our house didn't burn down. Another time I lit an entire match book on fire near a Bush that caught fire at an apartment complex that my mom's friend lived at. 1 of the residents broke open the fire extinguisher case and cut her foot open in the process. The fire department was called to put it out. I then had to go to the fire station to talk about fire prevention(they showed me pictures of arson and burn victims). And told me if I do it again that I'll be sent to juvenile hall. That in itself scared me so bad that I never lit anything on fire, except a blunt of weed or joint.
4:14 looks like the girl was dancing to the song, lol.
3:08 it’s magic alright! Oh boy, was it harsh, but funny in movie world!
Hi
Wow! You actually found me!
I didn't remember how badly filmed this scene was. Still a classic though.
I always detested junior, but I can sympathize with him later on.
Replacing the birthday candles with firecrackers was genius. That really wrecked the party
I love this movie so much rip John Ritter..junior my homie
I remember like it was yesterday. After I got dressed and ready for school, my mom said while we lived in a trailer before we continued our moving day, "I can't believe that John Ritter died!" I gave a look called "No way" without saying it before I ended up eating waffles for breakfast along with chocolate milk. Said mom of mine eventually took me to my older stepfather's house eventually before we went on. I later had a headache shortly after picture day (which was around the same time, not at).
1:13 i kind of feel bad for him he looked so innocent and cute when he sighed
I miss John 😭😥
Everyone's going on about how two wrongs don't make a right, but I say in this instance, screw all that! Lucy deserved everything she got! WTG Junior!
They're idiots
That little girl was like Daffy Duck Daffy duck" mine mine mine",lol
Junior brazenly throwing all of the presents in the pool in front of everyone just kills me.
I think it's safe to say Junior probably ended up in prison In his later years. I mean he's a monster of a child. Highly doubt his parents were able to turn him into a fine, responsible adult before it was too late.
Serves that birthday brat right!😋
The things Junior did was bad at the party
1. He let the mouse kid put the tail on the woman's butt
2. Threw all the presents in the pool
3. He grabbed a frog from the pond and put it in the fruit punch bowl
4. He replaced the candles with dynamite on the cake
5. He replaced candy with pickles in the pinata
Look how horrible he is! He's wearing a devil costume, that's supposed to represent that he's bad
1:50, right in the feels.
I loved this movie. Wished that I get to see it again 👌
I just turned 46 6/19 and this takes me back some years
If I was a child at this party I would be helping Junior cause a ruckus.
Such an undertated movie
This movie is good 😂
I miss John Ritter one of my most favorite actors
I didn't know until the following morning when I had some waffles and orange juice.
How could they say he’s not a real kid cause he’s adopted
i love these kids from the 90's there funny and cute
John Ritter was a legend in everything he did. The man is unbelievable. He played this Ben character, correct.
Junior is going to destroy and ruin birthday party.
Can't say the birthday girl and her other guests did *not* deserve it.
I can't believe Lucy(Colby Kline) still has the same hairstyle after 30 years.
I REMEMBER THINKING THIS WAS WHERE THE SONG CAME FROM-
I watched this movie when I was younger and I couldn't remember the name thank u for posting this
Take the time to find out the father of that little birthday girl. You might be pleasantly surprised.
RIP John
Flo is using junior to be noticed she doesn't want him
Yup lmao
Good ol' classics. Great movie
I love him, it's just like me 😂 at my childhood
