Your so informative, things my old male gynecologist never brought up during my visits. I hope I'm not behind the timeliness of starting HRT 🙏 Just starting a week ago
I’m curious why you recommend the non-FDA approved company of Bio-Te. Also, what are your thoughts regarding the recent pub med and gov studies showing that post-menopausal women gain more abdominal visceral fat due to ratio change of higher testosterone compared to estradiol.
Would love a video on HRT / Testosterone pellets with perimenopausal women that suffer from PCOS. There is so little information on this topic. I’ve searched. I just started pellets last week and have always been told T is my enemy, but my current Dr wanted me to have 150 with very little estrogen. Should I be concerned?
Thank you for educating us about Premarian and the unnecessary “torturing of mares” to make this product. How barbaric. Animal cruelty should be avoided in the choices we make about products and services.
I am 72 years old and I went through menopause about 25-27 years ago, never had any any HRT now I’m involved with a man and am experiencing virginal dryness, how can I relieve the dryness at my age? Am in pretty good health even though in a type 2 diabetic!

I'm on HRT estradot 100mg patch and mireena coil I had a uterine biopsy everything was good! I started HRT at 53 as I was on the combined pill in my forties for heavy periods perimenopause! Now on this combination patch and coil I'm having sleep anxiety, anxiety, low mood , no sex drive, I'm having periods every month , sore breasts, and spotting whole year , it stops for 2 weeks then restart s again! I've got underactive thyroid as well as fibromyalgia, had full bloods even for my estrogen bloods were fine, they are doing a scan this month to check my uterus for the bleeding , they said if that fine , they are going to add uttragestron at night for sleep and anxiety?❤
Hi Dr. Susan, Have you ever given patient HRT troche? I put it under my tongue, take about 1/2 hour to dissolve. I heard you are not recommended oral HRT, I thought I asked. Thanks!
You mention a british study with all forms of estrogen and blood clotting will be linked below but I do not see the link. Is it possible to provide it?
What would you recommend for a healthy 61 year old who has occasional migraines with aura? Worst symptoms are low libido and vaginal dryness. Testosterone only sound interesting
Any advice on HRT in Canada? I'm taking Premarin by mouth and have the Progesterone IUD. The gel my my breast very very painful and so I switched. Thank you for any advice!
Hello, Dr Susan, I find your videos so reassuring. I am 55, it is 7 months since my last period and I have just been prescribed hrt. I was doing a bit of research and came across a study suggesting that heart attack risk is elevated in the first year after stopping hrt. This worries me in case I have to stop for any reason. Have you any advice? Thank you.
I was so interested to hear your answer to the migraine question. So to be clear as I have the same problem and really want to stay on my HRT should I be on a low dose of estrogen. It seems that the day I change my patch 75 I get a migraine and days after a dull headache follows, I also have the Mirena. Been on HRT now for 5 yrs am 57 and this has been an on going issue.
I have a small goiter, and suspected Hashimoto disease. I have been menopausal since 35, I’m 52 now. I am taking bio denticle estrogen and progesterone. I also have a complete hysterectomy done 4 years ago. My question is: taking estrogen and progesterone will it make the Hashimoto disease and my thyroid problem worse?
Hi Dr Susan I love all of your videos. I have a question I’m 57 six years menapausal I was scared to take HRT like a lot of women. Now thanks to your videos I want to start. I’ve been to a cardiologist and had stress test and EKG for starting exercise and he said my heart is good had the ultrasound too of it no problems. My Lipid panel shows that my cholesterol is high but not terribly high but she wants me to start Statins but I’m trying to lower it myself thru diet and exercise would it be a good idea for me to take hormones. I have appt in May with my Gyno I hope I can still take them these last few years I have just not felt like myself and really feel like I have no joy in my life since menapause
This video is amazing. I started the biodentical pellets inserted 3 months ago. I had to have a biopsy due to thickening of the lining in my uterus. I am waiting for my results. Should I be concerned about cancer? Do you think this was caused by the hormones?
Thank you for your compilation of questions and answers! I will look to see if you have more like this! At the end of the vid, you mentioned that the Juliet Laser can help restore sexual drive....Is this physiologically bec estrogen is restored , or is this mentally due to the elimination of pain of intercourse (or both?)
Now after hearing this at the end, I really want a uterine ablation! I am sick and tired of having periods! Are there any risks to having a uterine ablation?
Hi Dr. I'm having breast fullness/sensitivity on patch doses any higher than 0.025mg (6 months) Can I try to go up to 0.05 mg with more progesterone than I'm using ? Is a tablet better than a patch perhaps since it goes up and down each day ? How about Duavee instead in a non-osteopenia/ non-osteoporotic gal ? Is Duavee ok to use for hrt ? It might be the answer since Bazedoxefine does not allow breast stimulation.
But isn’t progesterone the hormone that makes women feel yucky? You say progesterone is a good hormone. Why would a women without an uterus take progesterone when majority of health providers state you only need to take estrogen……
Total hysterectomy/oopherectomy at 40 years old (currently 57). I was immediately put on estrogen, testosterone and progesterone (bioidentical HRT) because my Gyn was of the belief that I needed to replace all hormones that I lost with surgical menopause. They work as a system. Progesterone not only assists with balancing estrogen (which is vital for women who had estrogen dominance issues, like endometriosis, as I had), it helps with mood, sleep (huge for me!), and it assists on bone growth. Unfortunately, the majority of mainstream healthcare providers are way behind on what the latest research is, unless they are hormone specialists.
Dr Susan … my uterus lining is 8.1 mm … two years on menopause and two years on pellets… had a ultrasound 3 weeks ago , will have a biopsy this coming October . if the result is not cancerous… what is the next thing to do to help the lining go back to normal? I wish I could go to your clinic but I live in az . 🩷
Love that you mentioned how cruel Premarin is to horses.😢
No need to take that when estrace is available.
Thank you for your videos! I started on estrogen 6 months ago & I feel great❤️
So glad!
This is a great video! Thank you so much for all the information!

Such helpful information!
Thank you so much 😊
I take estrogen via a troche (dissolves under tongue). Do those increase risk of blood clots, too?

Maybe try the vaginal ring she mentions near the beginning of the video.

What exact amount of testosterone in mg dosing, do you recommend if I opt for using topical cream. I am not interested in pellets.

You mentioned you'd link the studies below but I don't see them.
I’d love the link to the study sent mentioned! ❤

are you only discussing Bio identical hormones? or are hormones like the combipatch equally effective and safe?
