- Hi,
as most of the active TM players already noticed, there has been a WR party on A12 lately due to some new tricks for the cut. I found it pretty awesome and thought I'd give this track some sort of tribute :P
I tried to show off all huge improvements which have been made lately in order to present you the potential of the grass slide on this map. I was able to tell which tricks have been used in the respective run. Hope this is at least a bit interesting for you guys^^
Unfortunately, I had no access to Will B's replay (who was the first to do the cut successfully) so I just took Mustis replay. Still props to Will for being the first to cut this!
Pretty sure this video will be outdated within a few hours, but it's still worth it to show the development of the track and the reason why this game is called "TrackMania" and not "Stadium racing simulator 2008".

You can still access that replay, it's just not shown in the top 10. You can use a site like Wayback Machine to go a webpage and see how it looked like in for example December 2012. Then you can also see and download the old top 10 :)

Oh thanks you :) I want to try Trackmania with an Xbox controller but it don't work for me on MAC ( i know ... xD ). D-13, D-15 and E-05 are still too hard for me, i need to practice and i should watch some replays i think :) I'll keep watching your videos.
When i launched trackmania for the first time, I did the first track and i saw your name, second place in the world. And i saw that you have a lot of records, it's really impressive, keep going :)
Oh and i have a question for you, did you try the ZrT Cup ? I'm french and I watched this cup, i don't remember if you tried, or not :p

Were you too busy, maybe fun maps like Zerator did in this cup ? AccelTM O_o... WTF is this... By the way, Riolu, I'm having problems with those cliff-side objects (TM² Valley), because I tried to put them against a hill but there were some gaps, how do I make hills with tops out of them? Also, I can't put all the blocks on top of said hill.
I'm not actually sure if those cliffside blocks are meant to be placed next to a regular hill. In the cliffside objects folder there are many blocks of different shapes which you can use to create an artificial hill, which do fit perfectly to the cliffside blocks. Try those instead (:
AccelTM Yes, I did that, but I want to put BLOCKS on TOP of those hills! But I can't because they are ground blocks and the ground of those hills can't be raised!
Hit F4 (or double click the tree icon at the bottom) in order to place the objects freely.

I'm trying to figure out how they land on the front wheels like that. My car refuses to go over the barrier.
Well, you have to drift over the border - often that results in your back wheels getting bumped up, making your car land on front wheels first. Doesn't work all the time and is just one of the countless things which need to work for this cut.

Can anyone tell me what 's4d' means (@0:30)?
a s4d is a speedslide initiated by braking. often used at parts where you don't have a jump or a transition to start a normal speedslide.
i looked the video and i was thinking like this.. what ? what ? WHAT?!
basicly you just need to touch the rammstein with the back tire while drifting. your car will pop up so you can do a grass slide over the wall when landing. doesnt work all the time, but after time you will get the hang out of it.

The s4d bug by luffy can be done a bit closely to the wall, i tried to do it and i managed to get 19.08(cuz i haven't got Lik3d skillz)
Yep, the fastest s4d run is 0.03 faster than Luffy's time now ;p
