The decision for the veil with Mitch came from the director. Same guy who did can’t sleep love, Guy.exe, imaginary parties and Future friends videos. He shared a screenshot on Twitter of his conversation he was having with Mitch and Scott. He said he wanted the veil to represent him feeling trapped and then when the veil lifts its like the birth of Venus. I’m so glad you mentioned Mitch smiling when he sings it’s one of the best things to see him doing what he loves. Love the song too. It’s very catchy.

Mitch and the veil may represent an unhappy confused period of his life and the unveiling shows him confident and happy. I too love seeing Mitch singing and dancing with his beautiful smile.
