Cool to see that you're reacting to this! I don't want to throw shade at Friday The 13th, but this series is more entertaining to me, because it manages to be different in every installment, despite all of the movies being written be the same guy. It really is a rollercoaster of a franchise, and that's why it's my favorite. Can't wait for the show on Syfy.

Child's Play is such a bonkers franchise but I adore it. Brad Dourif is hilarious and the very premise of a killer doll is so ridiculous and yet Chucky is often legit menacing despite the absurdity. Definitely watch the whole series if you liked this one. They get pretty wild.

I watched this movie the first day it was released in theaters. When me and my mom got home the first thing she did was throw away "My Buddy Doll which looks exactly like chucky. A good movie staring the actor who played Chucky is "Mississippi Burning." Putting sugar in cereal was common back in the 80's before cereals were considered sugar. I use to put it on my Special K. Think Frosted flakes with no sugar.

All of you're questions can be answered with "Chucky is Magic". If we can buy in the fact that a man said a bunch of voodoo / latin mumbo jumbo over a doll and lept into his body, or that he can break a leg with a voodoo doll, we can buy that hes as strong as a person.

When you get to the later ones please be open minded about the tone change. They basically switch genres later in the franchise and it’s completely different. It’s still good imo but people who expect it to be strictly horror or scary would be disappointed and I want you to enjoy all of them for what they are.

Cute reaction, yeah he transfers his soul into the doll so he still has the strength of a grown guy that he is. Hope you react to the sequels. Seed is the worst of the series, but the rest are solid. Most like the next one the best but some love this one too.
In the beginning the Tom Holland is a different one, that Tom Holland is a known horror director he also did fright night and a few others. Alot of gen zers often confuse him with the younger Spider-Man actor🤣 Also you really like that Dumbo plushy huh? 😁I subbed.

If you like good story telling then there's Clive Barker's movies. Hellraiser, Nightbreed if you can see the directors cut then Candyman 1992. Considering Clive Barker is a real author his movies have good stories. Then Sleepaway Camp has a good story if you really pay attention to it. On top of that a real surprise ending. Then a really fun movie Killer Klowns From Outer Space. With a name like that you have to know the movie is. Going to be silly fun it goes without saying.

Big fan of this movie and it's direct sequel. Glad you liked it too. In future though, please don't read a movie summary right before you're about to react to a film you haven't seen. They often spoil plot twists, and did in this case, since the movie was deliberately constructed in such a way that you weren't supposed to be sure whether it was Chucky or Andy killing people until the big reveal about halfway through. You probably would've guessed it was Chucky anyway, since you were aware of the sequels, but even so I'd have preferred to see your reaction without you knowing for certain that Chucky was the killer going into it.
