Cute, but strictly for the little kids. Screens leave a lot to be desired, and that animation was iffy, but what the heck; if it keeps the youth off the streets...
Wow! That was awesome! I'd say a big upgrade from Hocus Pocus Hall! The soundtrack especially was really magical! Good job Merlin! You actually did a good thing! 👏👏👏
I’m 31 and I wanted to check this out when I went to Chessington earlier this year! I knew it was gonna be a bit childish from the get-go, but I still wanted to see it once and then move on.
Thanks Shawn. I knew you would put this up first chessington surpassed its self. Nice walk through its a bit like the guffolo without the boat ride thumbs up
I'm well above the age demographic and have little knowledge about Julia Donaldson's stories but this attraction doesn't look that bad, better than I thought it would be, and like its sibling in -Transylvania- Wild Woods, they did a good job hiding evidence of its previous incarnation. Perhaps it is because it is the opening day but it looks a bit cramped/awkward with the large amount of people essentially forced to frequently stop in a small room to follow each chapter of the story.
@@ThemeParkWorldwide hi I loved ur gruffalo river ride one,Especially this one! I’m using them to remember what they look like,I screamed in the gruffalo river ride and cried when the dragon appeared in this! I won the frog bit,Hope I can see myself here..If u saw a little girl blonde hair and dark brown eyes,That was me!!
it looks very good, better than i thought. for me the anamotronics are very impresive for chessington. one problem the narator does sound a bit slow to me.
It is a distracting shame. The floorboard replacement would likely cost a lot of money. Lets not forget they place an attraction into a very unique space that has to protect the original building. The floor is likely original to the house and therefore has lots of history attached to it. So they are very limited in what they can do to both floor and ceiling, it is easy to forget the history of the current Burnt Stub goes back to 18th-19th century.
I’m going here tomorrow, but I’m 11 so I probably won’t go in as I read this story when I was like 4. However I like the gruffalo ride, bc it doesn’t try and tell the story xx also this is where hocus pocus hall used to be
This looks like something you'd find in Hyde parks winter wonderland. Doesn't look perminate. I was about 11 when hocus pocus hall opened.. And even now I watch clips of it and never think it looks like a temp attraction. Didn't then and dont now. Kids aren't stupid... I bet they feel the same.

I miss Hocus Pocus Hall, anyone else?
We much prefer the new attraction!

I knew you'd get a video up nice and quick of this, thanks guys 🙂
Thank you for watching!
This looks quite good, can’t wait to try it out but I will always remember hocus pocus hall!
Thanks Shawn. I knew you would put this up first chessington surpassed its self. Nice walk through its a bit like the guffolo without the boat ride thumbs up
Great walk through POV of the Room On The Broom - A Magical Journey attraction
The Animatronics Are 10/10! (I Would Say That For Wallace And Gromit At Blackpool Too)
My nan almost had a heart attack at the haystack one..

It is indeed much better than Hocus Pocus Hall!
Shawn. Are there any hidden references/secrets to other attractions within the attraction? I couldn’t find any when I went.
Not that I saw!

Nicholas Dodson probably so the children can understand
I liked the Hocus Pocus Hall when I was 12.
They didn't replace the floorboards!
The floor is one of the main things that let some of the rooms down unfortunately
Theme Park Worldwide And the ceiling

Having seen this Shawn we don't feel so bad waiting two hours for this to break down on us 😀. Not great loss. Nice to chat to you at Legoland today.
A walk through attraction breaking down is classic Merlin. Lol.
It was great to see you!
My 3rd favourite ride

Gutted hocus locus hall is gone and bubbleworks. What was the thought process behind this 🙄
Will there be a vlog coming from your visit yesterday?
Indeed!
Theme Park Worldwide yay! I’m exited to watch it😁
Nice rethemeing. But looks like a walk through, not a sit on ride ?
It is indeed a walk through

Chessington just gets more awful the longer it's open. Lack of investment whilst ripping people off ends up with this crap.
Hopefully a new coaster is on the way

@@keavypearce1340 Yes you can to a greater extent but if it annoys other users which putting 1st, 2nd, 3rd does then its trolling.
Well I'm very sorry
This is terrible compared to hocus pocus hall
Just noticed my daughter makes a guest appearance in the end of this one!! :)
