- Eindelijk is de DVD en Blue Ray er dan. Na 5 jaar lobbyen is het beste live concert van deze zangeres ooit geregistreerd verkrijgbaar. Ze heeft er zelf vol trots aan meegewerkt en vond het zelf ook onverteerbaar dat deze opname zo lang op de planken is blijven liggen. Voor deze gelegenheid heb ik het openingsnummer uitgekozen.
Dit concert is opgenomen tijdens haar Farewell World Tour welke 2 jaar duurde. In die 2 jaar heeft ze alle continenten bezocht en haar publiek bedankt voor de jarenlange steun die ze heeft mogen ontvangen. Uiteraard is Nederland ook bezocht tijdens deze tour en ze gaf hier 7 concerten in de verschillende grote steden met als klapper het concert in het Concertgebouw te Amsterdam waar ze een "afscheid van het podium" kreeg dat ik nooit zal vergeten. Een bomvolle Concertgebouw zorgde voor een mooi afscheidsfeest vol met vreugde en verdriet en het publiek wilde haar niet laten gaan. Maar een zeer emotionele Nana Mouskouri verliet het podium via de hoge trap, ondersteunt door haar steun en toeverlaat André.
Op dit moment treedt ze heel af en toe nog op voor de Franse televisie. En voor de rest geniet ze in haar riante optrek, samen met haar man André, aan het meer van Geneve, Zwitserland. - Розваги

I was in this concert, and my DJ friend who accompanied me said when she appeared on stage, "She's the last of the big greats." He was right, but she has done it with dignity and grace. I wish her well for her 89th birthday on October 13th 2023. 1 year off 90! 🤗💕💞💕
This was a great concert, I have the DVD and it is one of the treasures that I keep to remember Nana. God bless you dear Nana!

I was so upset I had to miss her goodbye tour at Thompson Halll in Toronto at the time in the mid 2000 ‘s . My good pal and work collogue bought me the souvenir book from that evening . Now in 2020 am so so glad to be able to tell u that with my sis we saw her twice here in Edmonton in the last several years . She was my moms fav and thus it evokes so so many memories of her music life long in our household . Today have many her albums and cds . She is one the singers I always go to to calm me , to feel , to remember my youth . Our family when I was young . Our mom .i dread the day we lose all these treasures sooner than later now . Her , Nana , Streisand , Bassey , Cher , Tina .

Was at this concert with my Husband , it was a great night, Nana has to be the most influential lady I have ever met, shook hands with her in Aberdeen after her concert there when I was 18 years old. Have loved her since I was an infant she is one of the greatest and a wonderfully beautiful human being.

Het was een schitterend concert...ben blij dat ik er bij ben geweest net als het concert in Athene..dat ook zo mooi was..
Heeft u gehoorproblemen? Zo een oud mens kan toch niet meer optreden. Het was vreselijk en ik heb er spijt van. Het was zo vals als een gehandicapte lintworm

@limteckhong2365 : yes, true she is not the same age as she was in the 1970's. She is an eldetly lady here and still brave enough to sing in front of such a huge audience to thank her fans for their years of loyal support. I guess all of us will sing less vibrantly when we get into our eighties when the options are to stay at home silent or rest in bed. I think it's nice to see her still living her life the way her heart would choose, even if her voice has lost some of its brilliance. She is 89 now. I last saw her in London in 2018 and she sang for 2 hours with great determination and still with her recognisable inimitable voice and smile, when she asked the audience, " Am I tiring you?"! I guess the sympathetic fans are a little more undetstanding and forgiving towards her.
Niet om aan te horen gaat mij veels te ver. Ze is net 80 geworden. Dus realiteitszin zou op zijn plaats zijn.

Niet meer zoals vroeger. Dat is waar. Maar alles vervaagd met de jaren dus ook stemmen van artiesten. Maar niet meer om aan te horen ben ik het absoluut niet mee eens, maar daarom ben ik wel reeds 40 jaar een fan van haar. Het beste Live Concert? Ja, van haar zeker. Herods Atticus 1, was technisch vreselijk. Duitsland was ok. Herods Atticus 2 was perfect, maar deze is subliem.
haar stem is idd niet meer om aan te horen.... het nachtegaaltje zoals ze vroeger zong is het allang niet meer, en dit het beste concert ooit ? bij lange na niet... ze zong af en toe zelfs heel vals... jammer je kunt beter op je hoogtepunt van je stem stoppen......
