Hi there I'm a mazda 2 owner myself. I've been watching your videos for 3 weeks now during our Covid lock down. I'm a big fan all the way from New Zealand. Keep making more videos brother!!!!
Glad to see you still posting. I ordered a set since the regular halogens I have installed are barely enough for nighttime in the city. Gonna fry some eyeballs and not give a flying fuck. Love you babe, never stop postin' through it
Returning two years later: These headlamps are still great but you gotta be careful tuning them in to not blind anybody. Be very very careful on drivers side low beam to keep it level.
Hey dude! It looks great but the lights I have in my Mazda 2 are cool as well. It has a round led on top of the bulb which simulates a projector light and in pow beam it’s perfectly adjustable. In high beam it kicks in 4 leds ( same place as the ones on your bulbs). Yes I got them from ali but I had them adjusted professionally and after a year they still work perfectly!
These look great! The color temp is just warm enough! Just got a Mazda 2 but sadly it's an automatic. Is it worth or even possible to swap the transmission for a manual one?
Ok...were you ever able to install the rubber boots properly? If not...then here you go. I have a similar pair of LED lights bulbs in my truck..I called JDM (makers of my LED bulbs. Here is what I was advised and it worked. The small black housing between the fan and bulbs ..you should be able to twist it and remove it...slide on the rubber boot/ dust cover and then put on the black housing back on ..at that point u should be able to install bulb and boot back on the light assembly..let me know if that works for you as well as it did for me.
Awesome video. You missed the most important question. Now you've installed them and given them a few days (now months), would you buy them if they weren't given to you for free?
hey so I'm new owner of a 2014 Mazda 2 sport and was wanting to mod it to make it look better and a tad smoother and quicker on the road and have found alot of your videos helpful on what to start looking for and getting to start my project, but I have one thing I've been unable to find out how to change a shift knob on an automatic version of my car and was wondering if you could make a how to? if so it would be literally a game changer for my cars appearance and functionality
I've got an odd question. What brand are the sun shades seen on some videos on both the Mazda 2s. The fit seems to be precision measured and cut. I'd like to buy one for my girlfriend's 2 and one for my MS3 if they're available still.
Now I want these too.... but I don't got the skills to install it neither do I wanna try and fck up my daily. Very glad u made the video tho, maybe I will do this in the future
Fuck up your daily? They literally plug in like any other headlight bulb. It’s a ten minute job that requires no tools. ANY skill level can accomplish something like this. I make these videos to show people that you don’t always need to take your car somewhere and pay stupid money to have someone else do it.
@@HiroshimaSpirit I know and very glad u do make these vids. Respect the work u do for all mazda owners. The reason I said it is just cause I'm afraid of doing stuff wrong since it would be my very first time doing it😉
What about it? The sensors tell you when you when you have low pressure or a flat and automatically reset once you don’t. There’s not much to say. Also, please goes a long way, but I’m still not making a video.
Found your channel recently and I really love your content about your Mazda! Your grey Mazda says it's a Demio, is that a 1.3 Skyactive? I'm asking since here in New Zealand, we only have that version as an import from Japan. Been wondering how the 1.3 engine operates in the motorway as I'm contemplating of getting one :)
Went their page looking for these and they don't' have the model that you have nor do they show a recommended model for the Mazda 2. Look like a good bargain if you need to replace bulbs and want better visibility at night.
Hey I’m waiting for a new video to ask but you might check this one. Unrelated question. I am looking for the clear parts in the headlights you swapped for the amber headlight lens. Where might you find em?I can’t find them anywhere. Thanks!
@@HiroshimaSpirit I know you must have removed them awhile ago because they aren’t on the car in more recent videos but originally you had them (not sure if you remember) But I really like that JDM look with those white lenses but it must be hard to get ahold of some of those. Thanks for the reply.
Ive got a question about the mazda 2, is it possible to swap the 1.3 petrol to a 1.5 from the sport? Same block so id imagine it would drop in. Anything different about the sport and the standard such as exhaust etc? Appreciate any information.
@@HiroshimaSpirit Hey thanks for the speedy info, that's great to hear, I'll probably talk to my mechanic about it and let him have a quick look before I buy an engine. Thanks a lot.
Hey! Checking for an update to see if your rubber caps are doing okay. Have they melted yet? I want to buy these bulbs too but I'm scared they're too hot to handle
Have you replaced the clutch in your 2 yet? I'm thinking about getting the M-Pact 10040ST1 clutch that is supposed to have increased torque holding over the standard clutch, but don't want to increase pedal effort too much. Also does your 2 make the clicking noise every time you clutch, do you know how to fix that?
There is no reason to install anything other than an OEM replacement clutch in a car that makes 98 lb/ft of torque. Lubricate the clutch pedal assembly inside the cabin, and if that doesn’t fix it the problem likely lies with the clutch fork, which cannot be rectified without removing the gearbox.
@@HiroshimaSpirit well I am adding an ECU tune and e85 fuel hopefully for a real power bump. Also want to do turbo down the road. Currently it needs a clutch anyway so the gearbox is being removed.
Even with those things, it’s not going to make so much more power to warrant a ridiculous clutch. If you do eventually turbocharge it, you’re going to be putting a limited slip diff in, so it’s all gotta come back out anyway. Look at an upgrade then.
my mazda 2 dont have that kind of cup or hat (dont know what it is called) that cover the bulb inside the housing. so i afraid the end result of mine will be different than yours.
