Even though her performance is amazing, this really is a "perfect storm" moment. The arrangement was perfect for her voice. The musical accompaniment was spot on. The production team that did the set design and her outfit are crazy good. And give Diana kudos for her stage presence. She looks like she was born to be on that stage. Everything works.

when i first found her, end of 2918 i had to find out everything i could about her, anatomy plays a big part but then so does her backstory, early childhood, its how a kid can convey adult emotions, Diana is a beautiful magical high priestess of sound, queen of goosebumps and my joy in life, long live Russia!

That bald guy is Igor Krutoy. He has said - I think in the judges reaction in the full video - that he waited so long to hit the buzzer because he did not want to disrupt Diana's performance. That's why he did it during that "lull".
I will not leave you this evil number 666 (this is a joke, when I wanted to comment, there was this number)! There's a lot you haven't heard from Diana yet. She has great songs (not only covers)
Hatter, when I first heard this I had the same reaction. The way she moves effortlessly from chest voice (lower register) to head voice (upper register). The clarity of her pronunciation (for, what is not her first language), the smoothness of climbing or descending a scale and to bring suspense/drama to her delivery, outstanding.

It is based on Russian folktales about a young betrothed orphan girl who goes to the river, the boundary between the living and the dead, to ask her deceased mother's blessing for her marriage.

Ironically, Diana herself was an orphan who was abused and abandoned by her alcoholic mother at age 3. Because of this beginning, she had speech problems and was given singing lessons to help improve her speech. Her talent was quickly recognized and the rest is history.

Some commenters are often confused about her age at particular performances. You were correct that Diana was 15 years old here. (This version of "Wicked Game" was recorded just a few weeks before her 16th birthday. The broadcast date of this particular show was May 12, 2019.) Diana was born on May 31, 2003.

As for an explanation of how she could possibly be so talented at the tender age of 15.
I imagine you have been informed about a bit of her past, as to her mother abandoned her at a bus stop at age three with a broken collar bone. When she was adopted she had problems with her speech because of the collar bone. It was suggested that she could possibly benefit from speech therapy and started singing lessons (maybe all that was available?).
Through the lessons she basically learned to sing before she could talk very well. Wrap your head around that. Any who she's been working with vocal coach since then. Same one till fairly recently.
This could explain a lot while her anatomy is to her benefit (ours too) and working on exploring her abilities and talent.

Hi thanks for reacting to my request. The word that you are looking for about Diana‘s vocal skills is, polyphonic overtones. She actually sounds like she’s saying multiple notes at one time which is what makes her one of a kind. Please react to Diana forming a cover of, Human.
Her name is pronounced as D-Anna Un-Cu-Dean-O-Va and not Nova at end of her name

Diana is a dramatic contralto, which is the rarest and deepest of female voices, she is very unique. That judge is Igor Krutoy, he is a Russian/Ukrainian composer/producer and is a true professional, the reason he waited so long to hit his buzzer is because he was waiting for a break in her perform so as to not interrupt her and show her the respect she deserves. You've fallen into the trap of sounding arrogant by blasting him like so many other have done on their reaction videos.
So having an opinion makes me arrogant? Because that is part of the show. Im sorry that i have fallen short of your perfect reactor standards

Is there any reason why you couldn't have just question why he didn't buzz earlier? @@MadHatterReactions Like I said, I'm not criticising you for questioning his response, after all you didn't know who he was or his reason for waiting so long, which is fair. What I was criticising was the way you were mocking him for it. I'm aware people think being edgy and mocking will get them more subscriber, views etc. but that only works for very few individuals, in most cases it actually loses them subs. Unless mocking is the purpose of the channel that is.
Diana is great. But you need to listen to Dimash. I would love for you to react to his song Stranger. He is considered to be the best voice in the world. You will be hooked if you listen to Dimash.

There's nothing wrong with him, he's just waiting for the right moment so as not to knock Diana off the rhythm and spoil her performance.
