You can just choose 1 mystical shell, and 4 precious ingredients for special pot, 2 precious and 2 normal ingredients for very good pot or 4 normal ingredients for good pot.
I used the gold pot for the ambrosia recipe with big root icy rock honey rainbow matter and mystic shell. got a lv 76 Mewtwo with basic 968def and 1127atk and 8 slots out of 9. psycho cut 3socket as a move also
My shiny shrew evolved and I changed his move and got Fury Swipes. I can use a bunch of Hit Heal stones, whack whack and broad burst stones in combination with his new move. He does get Earthquake, it counts as a long distance move, but I'm not risking a re-roll LOL.
Well, your, half right. What I would do is cook on the gold pot and use the pokemon that i got from the gold pot to train my low level pokemon with good skills and slots.
I do agree that 'wasting' materials for higher level mons isnt that good because they can come with bad slots, moves and bingos... but the base stats are also higher on golden pot. By 300, plus the 0~100 IVs instead of the normal 0~10 from the first pot.

Curious question...as you work through area 12, does the ingredient drop rate go up exponentially? I've never come close to 25 ingredients dropped in a round let alone 80+. I can't see any DLC for it so I can only imagine it's a level thing...

im a free user here, i went with 3 magneton one of them had supersonic with 3 slots, the second had flash cannon with 3 slots and the last one had electric terrain with 3 slots. My ace card to win against mewtwo was supersonic, if it connect mewtwo was done for. Also my team power was like 12k i think, one of my magneton had 3k on atk power + electric terrain it hit like 8k per normal attack.
I had muk, who's never die with is shield, rhyhorn with his s attack and dotrio with his rock attack, which fully recover his life with the power up and the "+1,8% of life"

I've played over a dozen matches in happystance in 12-1 and 12-2 (I'm new to happystance) and haven't gotten A SINGLE shell I know they are even rarer in the low places but I've been playing so much expeditions trying to get at least three shells and haven't gotten any as yet.😐😣😥

Don't waste your time. It's all about the later levels. Get better Pokemon, then grind later.

You CAN get Mew by putting in 2 Rainbow Matter and 2 Mystical Shells.
I hope they add new worlds, make the game more challenging. Maybe an endless mode? Pvp? Something extra. The game is over way too quick.
