Sein mitreißendes, raues und dynamisches Rockpalast Konzert vom vierten November 1976 markierte den europäischen Durchbruch des jungen Kanadischen Multi-Instrumentalisten Pat Travers, der gerade einen Major-Deal mit Polydor in London unterschrieben hatte. Zu dieser Zeit bestand seine Band aus Peter „Mars“ Cowling am Bass und Nicko McBrain, der heutzutage bei Iron Maiden das Schlagzeug spielt. Einige Alben später als in den 80er Jahren wegen der Punk und New Wave Welle Blues orientierte Rockmusik aus dem Fokus geriet ging Pat Travers zurück in die USA, wo es weiterhin eine lebendige Szene in diesem Genre gab.
