My word of 2023 is "Prayer" and here's why. This was such an inspiring video, and I believe with all my heart that Luca is alive and with us because of Sara's quick thinking and expert CPR, the incredible medical team at the hospital, and the millions of strangers around the globe who have never met you and never will that prayed without ceasing and lit candles for Luca's recovery. Prayer.

When you photograph all the beautiful churches..to share their beauty with us....maybe next time go inside feel the warmth spirit that comes over you..just stop as people due everyday in Mexico at 12noo..I was amazed the church was full on non Sunday Service
We actually lit candles and prayed for Luca's recovery, as well. God has a purpose and a plan for Luca.
Prayer is powerful. I too prayed for this whole family. I believe God heard and answered. Happy New Year!

Happy New Year! Like you guy's we had a horrible 2022, Husband lost his mom and brother within months of each other, my mom, went deeper into dementia and everyone turned to me. I have two words, Lessons and Blessings. There are lessons to be learned about ourselves in these adversities and when out of the other side and we have had time to breathe, we find the blessings and embrace them. My prayers to God for you three continue as I am sure is true for many, many other people who love your videos and you 3! When I had just turned 50, my husband, who had just turned 51, died. You are so right in saying we must pick the option to keep living to the fullest even through the sadness and hard times. ❤ My word for this year is DEEPER. We are a whole world apart, but we are all the same. I believe that you bought “Lucky Lou” in Terre Haute, Indiana, and that is where my husband and I went to colleg, ISU. ITS a small world.

My word is HOPE. I hope that 2023 will be a better year than last year, that Luca will continue his recovery, that Sara's life will resume normalcy. I hope that COVID will somehow disappear so that we can all resume our lives without fear. I know the fear of one's loved one having a traumatic illness and how difficult it is to continue living life like it was before. I also hope that Sara, Luca and Luce will continue to make these marvelous vlogs in 2023 so that my Sundays will be filled with joy and the wonder of seeing places that I never dreamed of. My word for 2023 is "adapt", which means to become adjusted to new conditions. In 2022 a family member made decisions which would affect the whole family. Nothing traumatic, but still meaning I have to make new decisions about where I will live. I am 67 and thought I had at least the next 3 years worked out. Ha! So now I have to adapt.

I think the one word, for me, is revisit. Revisit what makes you happy, revisit life accomplished, and how to overcome difficulties. Revisit areas that you love in your travels and look for more hidden travels. Always revisit family and write down the stories they tell you, so when they depart this life to the next, you have stories to revisit and remember. So, God bless you and your family and reach for new stars in your travel.
I'm a newbie to your channel so I'm just catching up with your adventures. My word for 2023 is gratitude. Practice gratitude every day. Its so easy to become complacent and take for granted the riches we all have right here in our lives. Also Sara, time is a great healer when it comes to trauma like you had. A similar situation happened to me and even tho now 5 years on I still have moments of overwhelming fear , for the most part I've been able to accept it happened but Its in the past and I WILL NOT let it ruin my future. My word for 2023 is “Prayer”, that’s my everyday word as it gets me thru the day, I say a prayer for your happiness and love to endure for years to come, to watch Luce grow and make her way in life, get her truck and go visit different counties and famous spots. My word is to be “Prepared” For anything that could happen. To have a place that my boys can come to that is safe. And to go off grid. To grow my garden so I can store and can food and to prepare my house for the next winter to separate by boarding up rooms that have water pipes and to live under my means in this unstable world.
