Exactly that’s why I’m big on free will. You can try to help a person by educating them and praying to God for His direction but never try to make someone do something by force through using God’s Word and guilt trip anyone into anything because YOU think it’s God’s will what you want them to do.
I am busy wondering if God gives us free will to the point that He decides not to know beforehand what we will choose...
Because: after Abraham had Isaac on the altar and was about to go for the knife to sacrifice him as God had asked, He stopped him and said "NOW I KNOW" that you love Me, cos you didnt spare your only son... and i think God's heart was so blessed and overjoyed to find someone who loved Him near as much as He loved them... though God did go through with sacrificing His Son for us... ❤

@@andreaatsevenov4444God knew. God knows everything. He knows what we are going to do. But if God doesn't allow things to play out just because He knows what we are going to do, then He might, as well just stop the world. He knows, if we will choose Him or reject Him. Just like He knew what abraham was going to do. God chooses to do things this way for His glory. Not only that, but us actually doing the action that God knows we are going to go, helps strengthens us, grows our faith, etc. It helped grow Abraham's faith and trust in God.

Free will is a sin. God is sovereign over your will.

So true. If the Holy Spirit is asking you a question, we can be assured that it's not because God needs clarity! Just like a good parenting technique when we ask our children a question about something that is potentially harmful or bad for them that they want or want to do and we already know the answer. We just want them to think about it so they can learn how to discern good from bad or right from wrong.
If Holy Spirit asks you anything you need the demons cast out of you. Bible says scripture is all you need. Yet people want to be gods because they don’t want to serve Christ.

Please be careful when people, especially leaders, say they felt God talking directly to them. I’m not saying He doesn’t but people PLEASE go and read your Bible as well. We can make up any number of things and think the Lord told us, if it doesn’t align with scripture, it’s our own flesh.
Is there a scripture where he says to listen to him? , or a scripture where he’s like “this type of thing happens when you don’t listen”?
God only speaks to us through His word. Anytime you hear someone saying that God spoke to them, turn the other way immediately.
Religious spirit - uses Gods word to do their own will. - manipulation, confused , red flags - don't believe or don't go behind and lovingly leave quickly /immediately with kindness , don't argue or quarrel leave it in love n kindness and don't watch at all.
1. Say to them kindly- I will pray about it or I will get confirmation from God and word. I will ask my husband n parents n friends take counsel. Don't believe, leave quickly in love n kindness
2. Check the scriptures always and pray and take counsel.
God speaks to us through the word
Definitely it is a No from God when you pray and scriptures - No. Don't do it. Don't believe them or dont go behind them n lovingly leave quickly. Say to them - sorry I didn't get any confirmation from God. It is not from God and doesn't align with scriptures.

If you pray and you think God listens, why can’t he talk. Why does he have a mouth? When did he cease to talk? If he doesn’t talk, how do sinners come to know him if they can’t hear his voice calling?

Religion must point to God, His Word and The Lord Jesus Christ
The point is that religion cannot do that because of the unclean spirit that dwells in the religions and he cannot provide the truth. All religions are created by humans not God so they cannot bring salvation.

Cathilicism, budism, islam, hinduism... Cannot provide salvation. Only knowing God from the scripture and understand his word will bring you salvation. Repentance from sins, baptism and faith in Jesus Christ is the way. God's word is authority and he is a ruler not man.
