So the aggro list of Riptide is 50/50 into Azalea and generally has a good MU into Enigma, Kayo, Assassin, Warrior and Ninja. The list can push massive amounts of damage while also playing the trap game. Zen is going to give it trouble, Guardians are a hard MU and Kano is an auto loss. I think you guys are thinking of the more midrange list that’s running around.
So I really think you need to specify with riptide. You are likely thinking of how hybrid works and not the aggro build works. You are strictly incorrect on everything you said about him for aggro.
I agree with this as well. Aggro Riptide with the trap SB package is the best build and the matchups are very different. Zen is 50/50 so is Kayo into that build and Enigma struggles into it very poorly. I don't think he's some crazy deck but a lot of people are misevaluating the build due to what they used to see Riptide do and how he used to be built.
@TCGTALKYT Kayo is def higher once you understand it more. Zen is...better once you know the end game strategy and after putting in stonewall. But ya I've seen countless enigma be like it's favored idk what you mean, then in the pic they are on hybrid or barbed castaway. Like ya sure bro you got us.
