      Most of the time you ain't gonna get that much performance boost, at max 10%~20% on several apps, some others are going to work the same or instead get less performance. The only thing that really lis noticeable is temps improving by 10-20°C depending on the pc model/bodybuild and cpu

    Uhh? You have to disabled the Virtualization first, So that you can now undervolt your CPU using that Software.

    You have an asus tuf f15 with 48wh battery right? I want to buy asus tuf f16 with 90wh battery...do you think it can last 8-9 with coding and general use?

      If you are going to school and back all the time, the weight may be a problem for you. If you put it in silent mode and turn off the GPU, I think it will last 5-6 hours. I have the 48 wh model and it lasts 3 hours.

    Hi . I am using the asus vivobook pro 15 with intel i5 12450h. For me the first settings in throttle stop are locked. Is there any way for me to undervolt.

    • @mikediezel0923
      @mikediezel0923 Місяць тому

      try to reinstall the bios and don't click the set to default button as doing that will cause the slider in throttlestop to be locked. if that does not fix it maybe it's locked on your bios.

    I have a f15 laptop exactly like yours but with i7, the cpu temps run above 80 even with laptop cooling pad when gaming. Should I disable cpu turbo boost? Some people suggest me that i should turn off the cpu turbo boost.

      u can turn it off on non intensive games for lower temps and then turn it back on for intensive games so u could get good performance

    does it work for i5-12500h?

    • @kvernesdotten
      @kvernesdotten Місяць тому

      Typically the intel processors that ends with K or X are the ones that are unlocked and you can take control over the voltages yourself, the rest of them it usually depends on who made the system and what the motherboard/bios is like. On my F15 laptop with an i5-12450H, its locked so I cant. Best way to tell is download Throttlestop and see, if it doesnt let you change any voltages at all it means its locked.

      @@kvernesdotten yeah i have an asus tuf too f17 12500h is locked even in throttlestop that sucks undervolting should be a must on any cpu

    • @kvernesdotten
      @kvernesdotten Місяць тому

      @@fayyad00 Oh I agree, I can see why enterprise machines would be locked so users cant mess with them, but especially laptops really benefit from undervolting. There are some power limit apps that sometimes work but those dont do the same thing and has very little benefit.
      I even undervolted my 7950X on my stationary and it improved in every way, no random fan ramp ups and increased cinebench score by like 3000 points

    • @fayyad00
      @fayyad00 Місяць тому

      @@kvernesdotten yeah i power limit it to 35 watts but its less performance, i undervolted my 3050 its 10 degrees colder and 200+ mhz , undervolting is amazing

      @@fayyad00 Hermez does say in several videos that a laptop stand with active cooling is a must, do you use one?
      I dont have one, mostly because I feel like being tethered to both a charging cable and a stand its basically just a stationary rig at that point. But maybe im wrong
