Can you provide some insights on light setup for food/cooking photography/videography. I use digitek 18inch ring light(primary source) and some ceiling lights. Having trouble with Godox SB-UBW80 with syska fan shaped led light, as light is flickering in Camera. I know this is due to the line frequency and camera farm rate. Note I'm using mobile camera. Awaiting for a response.

But the paper color look brownish or grayish instead of White. Can you suggest me the lighting arrangements? Thanks in advance.
Thanks. This sounds like a white balance issue or an exposure issue. Are you using the native camera app? If yes, I'd suggest you invest in something like filmic pro.

Hey @pixelmatter mummy iPhone 14 does wired thing when I shoot in natural light. When I am closer to the phone it gives such soft smooth skin but as you increase the distance between phone and yourself, just go far away, then face and body becomes over sharp and it shows dark circles which are not even there
Strange.. Try using a 3rd party app for shooting and see if you get different results

b22 is connector type.. I think our bulbs are E27...connector aate hai.
Luminance is total brightness, lux is brightness measured at a point from a distance. Luminance is just brightness.. Air kuch nahi.. You should look at color temp.
5600 is daylight.. Below that is yellow light and above it is blue light.

Plus black isiliye karte hai taki walls wapis reflect na kare light ko aur unnecessary spill avoid kia ja sake.

Trying to shoot the video with Brio 4k webcam, and light source is warm white 30 W led bulb with white umbrella, but flickering issue is not going away , tried everything : changed frequency in obs , etc etc nothing works . Pls Tell me the solution , i dont even know that the lights you recommended will work or again flickering issue will start 🤯🤯🤯🤯
What's the frame rate of the camera? Set it to a multiple of 25.. And our screen refreshed at 60hz, so make sure to test some recordings with OBS, record at multiple of 25 fps in OBS then see if it works

Hey, why is that whenever we are in a hotel lobby or room the pictures/videos turn out to be great without any light setup but the same pictures with the same camera dont look even close at our homes? Can you please explain this and also how we can have similar lighting at home for youtube videos?
Hotels lobbies are well lit in all areas and they are generally lit bright. Similar for retail stores.. That makes the difference

Very informative video but my issue is that - when I use light shoot the video from my mobile phone a continuous moving lining appears. How to resolve this issue ?
Shoot at multiples of 25fps.. like 25, 50.. you will not see a flicker
Also, if you use a professional light, they will not have flickering issues

Ok sure, thanks for your suggestion, soon I will purchase a ring light, I guess that will be ok for shooting a cooking video.
You'll have to use an app like Filmic Pro to get those other frame rates.. they have a test app to see which features will your phone support. Use it if you decide to purchase.
