I was 10 when this song came out and I remember singing along to it without really knowing what it meant. I'm 36 now and Alanis, I've been there girl! After decades of dating, I get it 🤣
I got married in my teens to a blond. She always put me in mind of Stevie Nicks during her Edge of Seventeen official music video... her appearance, her face, and her build. This song takes me back to those days. Alanis's "Theater" lyrics remind me of theaters and on my way to work in the mornings down an 8-mile stretch of highway. My wife would show the same "attention" and I could hardly keep my car on the road. One morning, I got pulled over and told the cop my car kept dying. It was a stick shift. All of that aside, I love this song. Alanis is a cutie and I love her songs!

Kevin Malone performance brought me here
oi
💜...Alanis is wrote this song for all of us who have been BURNT!!! ((brilliant))
Agreed. And I have to say, I am not all impressed by the number of men who take this way out...it is such a cop out!!! I have had married men who try to hit on me and it makes me fume: to think that a man thinks not only so little of his wife, but of you in asking...REALLY?!??!! If one woman isn't enough for you -- why the F**K do you have to go and piss off two!???!!
@@laurawalsh2829 ....hang in there okay
How is it possible that 231 people dislike this! Wtf! I love this chicks passion 😜😍
probably because it swears...😂😂😂
these 256 who dislikes this song thinks that women are crazy
DrunkMouse2030
Naw, we don't think they're crazy .. but if you had the misfortune of having your heart ripped out and shat upon coincidentally in 1995 - this tune somehow has the effect of taking you a little too back there every time, lol..
chick? are you stuck in the '60s?
I really liked this song when I was younger and I didn't know why but now that I know what she's singing about I LOVE THIS SONG!
This came out during my awful divorce.
I Blasted this song!
I'm better now, haha
Bass line is ranchet as hell funky and moving in all the right directions
STEVIE NICKS AND ALANIS MORRISTTE ARE BOTH GEMINI GENUISES
ANYONE who has been left behind gets this perfectly. Me, too. Honestly, the song is perfect and Effin' fabulous!
Great song she tells it like it is. She's knows what's up
I don't think I've ever seen a video on UA-cam without a single thumbs down. 😧 this song is iconic.
Yeah, UA-cam took the down thumbs down......so you can't see it anymore. Ya dig?
This song is a freaking JAM! loved it when I was little and at 30 I love it even more!
I love this awesome song.
this song is for those who dumped their behalf and betraide after all the sacrifices the other half had been through
this explains how i'm feeling at this moment. great song!!!
Thiis song is the epitome of heart break bitterness and revenge .... unless you been there you maybe wouldn't understand the feelings behind the word...and beautifully done..
This song slaps so damn hard. I was in high school when this came out and at the time I thought "Oh, here's some crazy woman. Pass". Yeah, I was a complete idiot. Alanis rocks.
All the best songs are written through heart break a sorrow
Just started listening to a hilarious yet informative podcast called 60 Songs that Explain the 90s and the first episode is about this gem. 👌
My sister really likes Alanis Morissette and I really like this song, definitely her most memorable and impacting. I don't feel like I have a good singing voice but damn, I've kind of been wanting to karaoke this one for a while now, it just seems like it would be really fun and cathartic.
Serves 'Uncle Joey' right!
Cut. It. Out.
Just found out this was written about David Coulier who plays Joey from Full House ...damn
Daaamn, I Hella remember this song. I feel it, I was 5 when the song came out and I recall my late sister playing this song here and there and wow I did not know it had such of a deviating heart breaking impact . Love the song, thank you for expressing it!
THIS SONG IS ABOUT JOEY FROM FULL HOUSE..!?

Kills me every time I hear this to think about Joey getting a blow-j in the movie theater!!!!
@@Jasel71 I would have dated him, but he would have had to do the Mr Woodchuck voice while receiving the BJ. “Oh yeah, suck my -wood-“
He was 33 and she was 18.

Will forever b one of my favorite songs!

This explosive album dropped when I was in High School and it became one of the greatest things I've ever been a part of... Korn too!
