I had one in my tank. It is extremely hardy fish. They seemingly shy at first but when once accustomed to the environment, they are the first to snatch the food in a community tank. I have to give it away, as i no longer trust this fish being well behaved inhabitant in my tank. I believe it will gobble up all the rest one by one as it grows very fast.
Yes they grow super big and fast 💙💙 thanks for sharing
Just bought one, I don't really see him eat whenever I'm feeding the fish with the iridescent in the tank
Why main doesn’t grow that fast
Is it okay if I keep them in a smaller tank when the are smaller and is it okay if they stay with another iridescent shark which is a bit older?
Yes but you need to be ready whent the time to move them comes
I have these fish they are really big, but one of them have got a swollen eyes ( Its like a thin bubble of something over fish eye ) what do you recommend i can do to take care of this... ?
Hi, I will cuarentine the fish and add sone aquarium salt and water chabge once a week, remember to do not put to much salt.
@@jraquariumpr Ok thanks I will do it...
I have 2 of these, i had them since they were 5 cms now they are 35 and 25 cms 😭. They are too big now but still act like babies and splash water all over the place. I have gotten them a big tank but after filling the water, they just splash half of it out of the tank 🙆♂️
Oh no 🫨
And how long did it take to grow from 5 to 25 is the real question i need to know before buy it
Mine are 30 years old!
😮😵waoo
Is that compatible with plant ? Or eats my aquarium plants ?
He wont eat the plants but he is very active it may dig out some plants.
Can i keep gold fish with irridecent sharks?
Yes you can, I see them a lot in outdoor ponds.
You said in few months but I have two for around six months and they barely grow
Tank size play a role as well.
3:36 bro this is paron shark is not Iridescent shark they are different from each other
I'd like to order a iridescent shark
Where you from?
Mines wont eat at all...why is this
It's ok mines some times just stop eating for days
Check ur water parameter and temperature or they may have a parasite.
*These* *are* so *Skittish* 🥲 and they stop eating as *well* 🥲🥲🥲
💯.Yes and they turn from black to Albino pretty quick specially if you do a water change and remove some decoration.
