BTS didn't write Dynamite, it was just a fun song to lift people's spirits during the pandemic. BTS couldn't tour at the time due to the pandemic so this song was a gift to fans. It was BTS first fully English song. It earned them their first number 1 song on the billboard hot 100 chart, their first Grammy nomination, and at the time became the most viewed video on youtube in 24 hours with 101.1 million views (BTS would break their own record a year later with their 2nd fully English songs called Butter which got 108.2 million views in 24 hours). I don't know where you guys are getting your recommendations but ARMY have recommended a lot of songs with deeper meanings but you aren't choosing to react to those songs. Hopefully you'll get to them at some point.
True. It irks me to no end when reactors choose one of the 3 English songs to react to and think that is the whole representation of BTS
@@worldwidekookie394 It's not just that, but they keep reacting to the more fun songs that aren't that deep and it seems like these guys want something with more lyrical substance. ARMY has put some great recommendations but they aren't reacting to those songs.

The video did what it was supposed to do; make you smile. No hidden meanings, just a song to cheer up during the pandemic. It was released in 2020 after everything was shut down and people were getting depressed. I love how you guys are now looking for hidden meaning in the songs. lol.Thanks for your reaction!
I'm happy to see you're looking for hidden meanings in the BTS songs! They are genius lyric writers and most of their songs have very deep meanings, but they didn't write Dynamite. It was written by David Stewart and Jessica Agombar. I was new ARMY when this came out and was at home alone. This song picked me up and I found myself wanting more of their music. I'm in awe of what these 7 boys can do.
Magic Shop was my next feel-good song. It was written by Jungkook. There's a live version that I hope you react to. Thanks! 💜

Not ALL of BTS' songs are super deep with layered meanings. This one was just meant to be an upbeat happy song to make people feel better during a really shitty time (released August of 2020 during the pandemic). It was their first full English solo song.
Just for fun, I would recommend Pentatonix doing a cover mixing Dynamite and Butter. As they alternate songs, it changes back-and-forth from color to black-and-white. It shows their fun side. Nice to see you got headphones!

Dyanmite and other english singles don't have deep philosophical meaning but released to put a smile on people's faces during the pandemic 💜

Thank you for your reaction. I have enjoyed watching your faces as you watch the BTS videos. You have only reacted to Dynamite (pandemic), Like Crazy (Jimin solo work from his album, FACE which he has said that album captures how he dealt with the pandemic), and Euphoria (JK solo song on the BTS album, Love Yourself: Answer which in itself is part of a trilogy. BTS has over 400 songs in their discography. You have a long way to go to understand all the meaning they put into their music. Dynamite was a song that BTS did amid the pandemic to keep up ARMYs spirits. They were supposed to be in the middle of their World Tour before going to do their military service at the end of 2020. However, the tour was cancelled and BTS decided to put off ME in order to stay with ARMY during the pandemic. This song was on their album, BE that came out in November of 2020 which was all about making it through the pandemic. Dynamite was their first all English song and the first of 6 #1 HOT100 songs that would follow including Life Goes On which is sung in Korean with some English lyrics. During the pandemic they also gave online concerts and did many many lives with ARMY. I would recommend you watching Taylor Mari's Guide to BTS Members, the Bangtan 7 and also The Rice Squad's The Most Beautiful Life Goes On 2022 Update. Both of those documentaries will give you insight on the members and the groups accomplishments. The album Map of the Soul was based on Carl Jung's theories of self if you want to dig into meanings, start with Blood, Sweat and Tears. Spring Day, also has deep meaning, you should also watch the companion explanation video by and Italian ARMY. DDaeng, Baepsae (Silver Spoon), these have explanation companion videos as well and the list goes on... I hope to see you do a deeper dive into their music! Their debut anniversary is Thursday, 13June2024 and Jungkook dropped a song on Friday to celebrate with ARMY called Never Let Go. He recorded it prior to entering his military service. All the members will complete their service by 21June2025 so you have time to catch up on their discography!!
