Bronchiectasis, targeting infections to transform care

Bronchiectasis is the third most common airway disease, behind asthma and COPD, yet very few people have ever heard of it. Leading bronchiectasis expert James Chalmers from the University of Dundee explains the challenge of trying to treat bronchiectasis and talks to our research leaders Christina and Rod about the potential for new treatments. By targeting the bacteria that drive disease progression we hope to develop treatments that could reduce exacerbations and improve quality of life.
